This will be the next venue for the summer Olympics. So what are your plans? Are you going there or just watch it on television? What are your future hopes and worries about this event? Just post all your thoughts about this future Olympics.
In my case I am still hoping and optimistic enough if our country will win or even make it already in the history to have gold. More so there would be more athletes that will represent our country. I am also looking forward for my favorite swimming athletes aside since Michael Phelps is now retired.
My worries is still the same that there will be politics and racism that will happen again. Though I am expecting that more so I am also expecting that there would be downright ugly decision in boxing.

The Summer Olympics in 2016 sounds like it is going to be one of the most exciting ever, if not the most exciting ever. I will definitely be looking for a front row seat, whether it is in Rio or in my home. Rio is an inviting city. I would hope that the Olympians will take every precautious measure to stay safe. Rio and the Olympics, Wow! Sounds like a gooood time.

Do you have any idea of how much the front seat would be? Honestly I don't really like watching it live but seating on middle or too far it is like what is the use of being there if you can't be able to see everything? Probably I hope we can make it.

Yes Rio De Janiero Brazil will be the next place for the Olympics in 2016 to be exact. I think I'll just watch it on TV alone. What I worry about is my country not on Olympic achievement. Maybe someday the Olympics could provide a more interesting spectacle.
I think China and the United States will still dominate the Olympics in 2016 in Rio De Janiero.

What do you mean your country is not an Olympic achievement? I saw your profile and you are living in Indonesia whereas your country had won 2 medals which is 1 silver and 1 bronze even though there is no gold. Whereas in our case Philippines we haven't receive anything at all. Though I am still proud of our athletes because I know how they worked hard for it.

For me the key to Rio is India's performances in the Olympics. We have steadily improved in the last three Olympics having our biggest haul of 6 medals at London. I am looking to hit double digits at Rio and that to me would be the key of the Rio Olympics.
Also, I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful Brazil and how it is able to prepare itself for the Olympics.
Cheers!

Yeah I am expecting it that they won't showcase much about their shows and who are the singers then make it a point that it will look like a Gig on the bars. Cultural show will be much better to present their country. But of course it could be better if they could present something that is totally relevant or related to Olympics. It doesn't have to be so fabulous like the Beijing 2008 Olympics, the important matter here is that they could think of innovative ways in order for it to make it presentable.

My concern will be whether Brazil will be handle with so much on their plate as they are playing host to the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and then the Summer Olympics in 2016.
It will be interesting if they succeed because Brazil is a very vibrant destination despite it being known for its poverty. Hope that both events would bring about economic improvements to their current situation.
It would be my hope the Games would not be passive and taking the backseat in pushing for technology to be implemented in the scoring, judging and refereeing which is so lacking and much needed.
I am for the overhaul of controversial scoring and judging in sports like boxing and cycling. Sports should be about fair play and bribery should never be able to interfere with the proceedings.

I am hoping as well that they can still handle this kind of event despite of the economy. Regarding the fair play, my question there is when they are going to realize that they must do it with dignity? Sounds like there are some sports that will normally being done by bribery especially in terms of Olympics. I am one of the people around the world who is respecting this kind of game which is this Olympics then the people involve in this kind of event will be bias just because of money.

I salute Usain Bolt for his performance even though I am not fan of Track and Field. Though unfortunately I wasn't able to watch him live on air. Oh! it is his birthday today because I just read his biography on his website.
