What do you think? Holidays, visits to other parts of the world, deserves sacrifice? What would you choose between a trip on little money and no trip? Say me, in too many parts that a holiday can not be successful if it is not all inclusive (possibly and ultra), if you can not afford every whim that your mind can conceive it ... I do not trip may be a nice if not stay in navel fair that you visit at a top hotel with more star service. I have been saying, and not a few people that if you have money crammed in your wallet or card, if necessary, it's better to stay home. And what, you can visit any using Internet ... Disagree, of course. In the last two years since we tear down the slope financial situation, my road, traveling, my money are few. As little as possible, divided into as many passengers as possible. Yes, of course, that gives much trouble, I turn into a hunter offerings, low cost reservations months before the scheduled holidays in the previous year, with plans made ??in blood, with many, many sacrifices. But, above all, because departures are my anchor in this life so changeable, longing go because it's one of the deepest that dwell within me, I accept this game as it's life and I struggle. And I've been to many places and yet in only a fraction of those for whom my soul yearns. So,between going on a vacation on little money or no going at all, what would you choose?

Going on vacation can mean a lot of different things to different people. If I didn't have the money to travel somewhere for my vacation I wouldn't travel. The nice things is you can vacation right at home. People have a tendency to forget all the cool things right in there own back yard that they never go see. For some reason a lot of people think they need to travel for their vacation time. This is not necessarily true, check around your local area and see what there is. I'm fortunate enough that in my area there are museums all sorts of them, zoo, parks, historical areas. Look around your area you just might be surprised at what you find to do and see.

I made many trips by car through country and I never regretted. There is much to see, even if you know how to take advantage of this in an efficient and organized. For me, clearly, one of the things worth sacrifices are traveling, visits to towns steeped in history, in other worlds, other people ... but sometimes require sacrifice too much ... Thanks foe response.

I would choose to go on a vacation with a little money. In 2003 I felt quite poor but still did a trip and I picked cheap flights to Trieste in Italy. I did it to reach Eastern Europe on a low budget and it required an early departure so I went to the airport the evening before and slept on my sleeping map on the airport floor. I arrived and took buses to Dubrovnik. It had a lovely old town to look around and enjoy. It was fun to go to Montenegro and see the the most southern in Europe fjords. I loved seeing the island go the way back up the Croatian coast. I had a wonderful time in Slovenia seeing Lake Bled. It was a fantastic trip spent mostly camping in my own tent, with a few nights spent in a private room and a youth hostel bed. I would always suggest taking a cheap flight to a place near to the region you wish to see. Camping is low cost and these days couch surfing is free. In a magazine I saw a report about 25 trips that had been done on just two hundred and fifty pounds. They happened in the winter and they got there on low cost flights. They stayed for four to seven nights. Happy travels.

It depends on the amount of money that I have. If I have enough money for a cheap room (for instance a hostel room without private bathroom) and a cheap form of transportation and some extra money to spend on food, entrance fees and souvenirs I would definately travel. I don't mind staying in budget accomodation and I don't mind spending countless hours on a bus if it is cheaper than flying. I am not afraid to walk several kilometers on foot if I can't afford a taxi. Travelling is my biggest passion and I wouldn't miss out on a trip just because I wasn't able to afford 4 or 5 star hotels. On the other hand if I knew that there would be no money or very little money left when I had paid for my accomodation and my transportation I probably wouldn't travel because I wouldn't be able to afford the entrance fees and souvenirs that I want to buy and in that situation I think that it would be better to wait.

To go an a vacation with little money is not worth it. You will not have a good time if you're always worrying about how much is left. It makes the trip that much more stressful. Me personally, well, I will not venture off on a trip with a poor financial situation. I would make due with staying home and enjoying my time.

I'm all for a vacation with little money instead of no vacation at all, mostly because I haven't been going anywhere in the past few years thus I'd also accept to enjoy myself in a short trip instead of just staying here and sweating because of how hot it is in Italy right now. I'd wanna visit England, it's a one hour flight from here and hostels are cheap, who knows, maybe this winter :)
