To all MTurkers: How and when can you cash out from Amazon's MTurk?

My experience has been good. They pay in my local currency. They send a cheque across to my home at the address that I give to them. However, they do deduct 4 dollars for every cheque as processing charge. Therefore, if you earn 5 dollars and ask them to send a cheque..you will get equivalent of 1 dollar. If you earn 100 dollars and ask them to send a cheque, you will get monies equivalent to 96 dollars. Effectively, you need to earn more and ask for fewer cheques, not every month or fortnight..if you know what I mean.. However, the number of hits is lower this year than it was in the past. Still, it is a good site to earn some monies on occassionally. All the best.

As I live in the UK I cannot get cash from Mturk which is not good, but you can transfer it over to amazon vouchers as soon as it hits $5 then it does not matter how much it is then. The other problem is I can only purchase from amazon.com and not .co.uk so anything I buy costs a fortune to be shipped over here and I am also limited on which sellers ship it over.

They pay you through your bank account. For this you have to ask for the payment through your bank account cheque. You have to provide your bank account number and some code number of your code for international transfer. It takes time for the cheque to reach to you however, it is safe way. And for the payout, I do not think that there is anything like minimum amount of payout. However, you should be calcultive as some commission will be deducted when a cheque is sent to you.

My thinking was that the minimum required amount for cash out is #20. Now I just viewed their FAQ and there is no specific minimum balance shown.I have a balance of $8.61 in my MTurk account.So I think I can buy some thing from Amazon.I am from India, so I have the facility to cash back the money in Indian Rupees also.

that site is not good now and they are mostly spamming for all countries and its a waste of time to work hard there from my experience

Mturk is very gunianane site and paying good money specially on survey or bookmarking. But now bookmarking task is not avialable. If you are not Indian than you can earn more and more because mturk paid more money for survey. No cash limit but yes 4 dollar is processing fee means for sending the check they takes the 4 dollar fees. You can withdraw money from check or as online purchasing.

I can't cash out at MTurk because I live in the UK (only through Amazon.com vouchers). As such, I don't use it that much.

You can send it to your paypal as well, and I believe that that is $10.00 of a limit, maybe $5.00 I forget exactly. I always let it sit and it goes to my amazon account so that I can use it for purchases as I please, makes for good gifts to myself.

you can cash out through bank or amazon gift card. for amazon it is $1 for bank wire it is $10 i can only say that it is one of the best cloud working service, lot of jobs to choose and get paid.

I recently created an account with them and is being under review for 48 hours.. Can you tell me how it works how do those hits works.

I believe the minimum amount you can send to your bank account from mechanical turk is $10. I normally just go ahead and deposit when I get to $10. I like doing work for mechanical turk some things don't pay very much but if you are willing to try harder you can get the higher paying tasks. You won't make a fortune but a little extra pocket money is good for me.
