is it possible to freeze milk?

i have too much and wondered if i froze it and took it out a week later would it be fine after defrosting in the fridge or can freezing it do harm to the milk?

I KNOW A COUPLE OF PEOPLE THAT DO BUT I HAVE NEVER TRIED IT. TO ME I WOULD THINK THE MILK WOULD TASTE LIKE WATER

I never heard of this before. Would it still be good though? To me, I would think it would taste like something else. But if someone had tried this before, it'll be nice to know and learn this. Wow! I always have alot of milk stored in my refrigator and it always go to waste. Wow, maybe I can start frozing them and when I do need them, just defrost it. But again, is it going to taste the same and still good and health to drink.

i tryed it one time it tasted like water i didnt like it at all i would recomend it to anyone

I freeze milk all the time :) Well, maybe not all the time, but sometimes, just for fun. I created "Milkubes". I freeze milk like icecubs, and put them in my liquid milk :P
