I think customer care service is the best job now a days. You will earn, while you speak. There is no physical work, you just have to speak and earn. I think it is the easiest job from all others jobs.
On other side Sales job is difficult. You have to wonder here and there with your own convince. On the other hand in BPOs, Car or tempo will pick you up from your house and leaves you to your office.
Just think about it......

I will be selling over the telephone - telesales so I also will be earning while I speak.
I do not have to wonder here and there I just sit at my desk call people persuade them to extend their insurance.

Hey Chill, first off, congrats on the job! Sales is tough. Dealing with the public can be difficult. My advice is to treat people the same way you want to be treated. However, there are those that will push every button they possibly can to antagonize you. Don't fall for it! Never let anyone draw you in. If you can do that, you'll be the next CEO of your company. Customer service is almost part of every field. More so in sales. Good luck:-) . Happy MyLotting dml.

Hi chillpill90, when I finished my degree i work as a sales personnel in a beauty products company 8 years ago. When I am starting I am really nervous and my hands was very cold every time I talked to customers but after a few encounter with customer I became more comfortable and relax. I think you can be a good sales person by answering all the concern of the customer to your products as much as possible. Try to be honest, relax and focus on your job to prevent on committing any mistakes. Much better if you have a sales and planning strategy before, during and after talking to your customer. Be friendly and straight to the point. Also lastly, treat your prospect customer equally whether they are wearing nice clothes or not. good luck

Before my father went into politics he was an excellent salesman. You need the power of persuasion. Gentle persuasion. I don't know about other people but I personally hate aggressive, overbearing sales people. And I think you need to be personable, friendly - not overly friendly. I'm sure you need more than that, but I don't know what. Hopefully other mylotters can give you more advice than I. Good luck on your new job and congratulations!
