Unable to enjoy holidays.

Hi mylotters, I am an Indian and working in a MNC, I am member of UK Team and my timings are UK timings i.e. 1pm to 10pm IST(Indian time) everything is fine to me the timings, work etc but the main problem is with holidays because they are giving holidays for UK bank holidays only, i.e. for Indian holidays we are not getting holidays and we need to work in those days also, how worse it is? Actually I am a once year experienced employee only to ask about these, we can't able to enjoy or celebrate our holidays or festivals. Everyone else in our family, friends are enjoying and they will give their holidays(UK) what we have to do in those days, except rest we can't do anything. I think this system should change, every Indian should get at least some Indian holidays. May be it may differ company to company, I don't know much about this. What do you think about it, do you guys accept this? let me know your opinion on this.
