hello friends, In my opinion dependence on computers is neither good nor bad, rather computers have become one of the basic essential needs of human beings. Computers are great inventions of mankind. They have many important applications in our lives. we use them in business, hospitals, crime detection and even to fly planes. computers make our work easier and faster. I cant imagine a world without computer now. Friends ,what are your opinions about the same? please share your views.

Most of us are depending up on computers and internet in this modern world, it is really hard to see a person without computer awareness in this days, even a little kid know to operate the computer very well. Most of us are interested in spending our time with computers, internet and online sites and get addicted with it. In fact some times we forget about the time while accessing online sites and wonder how time flies.. It is really hard to imagine our life without computer and internet in this modern trend, since it is necessary and necessity of this days. Computer is having a lot of benefits and we can see it in every field, it is hard to list out all the benefits of computer, we can do various things using it. But spending all our time in front of computer is not a good thing and it will give a lot of health issues. We must organize our computer usage to keep our health in a good manner. Don't get addicted with computers and control your computer usage. Too much of computer usage is not good for us, so we must allocate proper time for our online activities and become independent. Never become dependent of a computer, since it is a man made product and we are the superior power. Computer don't have the ability to control us, as well as we never let it to control us.

Dependence on machines does leave humans somewhat vulnerable. Just think about it, viruses, hackers, blackouts. All these things can put important data at risk. In my experiences working with the use of computers, there was always a backup plan, FILING. Yes, taking everything on a computer file and putting it in a paper one. This can be quite difficult if an adequate system of record keeping is not developed. Computers rock, but paper rules.

Probably not, but we are people who have become very reliant on technology to survive, and God forbid we ever have to go without this technology, then I just don't know how we will survive. We have become so reliant on computers, and everything has become so computerized that to go without it would be very strange. I think that we could survive without computers, but we would definitely be going back to the "Dark Ages".

nwadayz dependence on computers is cumpulsory fr each n every tiny thing.. They provide us wid a lot of information n becum a part of our dialy life.. It has bcum a mandatory act. Though its nt gud for our eyes we need to take certain precautions. Nd dependence on it is good as far as it is doin good to us in a positive sense.. Even most of d jobs r concernd wid computers wis 8 to 10 hrs of workng ours dialy. So dependence is a must nd is good bt we still need to take certain precautions while viewng fr a lot of tym lyk a change in diet position sittng posture etcc..

Hi, Being dependent means one cannot survive without the object of dependency. If you mean by that statement, then it is not really a good thing. Some tasks can only be done with a computer while others can be done without. Food production is still done as it was thousands of years ago and it is still possible today without computers. In fact most of the things where our basic survival depends much can be made possible without electronic gadgets, cellphones or PDAs. If these things are dependent on computers, then we in for some real trouble.

Computers have changed the world and will continue to do so. It means that informations is easily available, take flying, when travelling traditionally meant having to either have all the information on a book or map and if something got lost, eg the address to the hotel, it was a lot of wasted time trying to figure out where to go, if everything is online it is generally available all the time. Not all countries have widespread access to the internet so going from having instant access to any information we need, going past a museum and googling it to see what it is about, to where even phones don't work is quite a change. The dependence on computers though is scary sometimes, they are now part of our lives.

I am addicted to my computer and the internet. I think that is a bad thing in many ways. I don't think that computer advancement is too terrible. As far as record keeping goes it is wonderful. When things go wrong with the computer things are bad though. It has its pros and cons.

As days past, new technology had been develop. And many of this new technologies (if not all) is somehow link to a computer. Computer is one of the best inventions of human kinds and everyday, we become dependent on it. From work to our home, from streets and highways and almost everything around us are all computer driven. I don't think that people nowadays can cope up without computer. Computers becomes a necessity and not just a luxury for humankind.

Well, from your detailed description, I think you're absolutely right. In fact, computers are now used all over the world, such as the scope of which you spoke in your discussion. However, I know many people who even I know how to give a plausible explanation, they refuse to learn to use the computer! Their answer: It does not interest me, and I is not essential! Now, it is clear, everyone in life is what he believes, is not discussed here, but I do not understand why wanting to refuse to learn how to use a device that is, in a sense, is the future of humanity!

It is okay to use computer but not fully in my opinion. I have seen in the news that kids are dying because of getting obsessed by computer games. It is good that we have computers today but we have to careful of not getting controlled by computers in our daily lives. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead. .

The dependence for computers is true and prouved by some research. If you spend more then 5-6 hours per day especially the teenagers wil be addicted by computers. Some people have end badly with this dependence. They haven't ate. They was trapped into that world of computers. Some people have dependence of games like WoW or dependence of facebook and more.My point is if you spend more then 5-6 hours on your personal computer in time you can become an addict.

Computers are made to make our life easy. Therefore we should equipped ourselves with computer knowledge to fully utilised its benefits. It can process data in a split second and we can search so much information with the internet. However, we should be able to handle things manually without computer if circumtances surface where a place without this facilities.

Imagine a computer without internet? Can you still remember those days of having computer with windows and internet? If there is no computer maybe I am a painter now or an artist who is just creating abstract on frames. Without the computer before I became much resourceful especially when I am going to the library.

Computers and internet makes our life indeed easier. Before, when i want a certain recipe, i have to go through a lot of cooking books. But now, with the internet you can just type it and lo and behold, you can choose from a lot of sites. However, it's up to us to control the way it consumes our time.

As most things that we have, they are advantageous to us but when we over use the thing it may lead to destruction or whatever. Same with the computers, if we over use it, there are also disadvantages.

hi... : In my opinion... it depends upon the users. Its a good thing if the users uses computers for any matters that computer is used to but its another reason if the users still using computer in times that it doesn't needed anymore.
