On my way home from work, I would pass by Makati Cemetery. It has high walls and outside of these walls are tall trees. I happened to see squatters coming out from this cemetery as they climb their way in and out of the cemetery via the trees.
Gosh.. the poverty here... the squatters... i mean... how could they handle squatting inside a cemetery? Dont they get scared??? Not to consider, dont they respect the dead??? tsk tsk tsk

I know what you mean. But with our poor economy, these vagabonds have nothing more to do but to make any place their home. If only those people in our government could make a big change in our country, I hope they would also prioritize descent settlements and guaranteed jobs for them.

Here in the Philippines, poor people would squat anywhere where they think that the place is unattended.
So, for those who have vacant lots, better put fences and some stern warning, so informal settlers will be afraid to squat there.
I really hope there will be an anti-squatting bill.
