Keeping a diary

I started writing down my sentiments in a notebook during my high school days, and began to keep a diary, writing down everything about me during college days and until now I still keep those diaries and sometimes read them once in a while. Reading them makes me smile and sometimes makes me cry, though I never regret having a diary for it became and will forever serve as a reminder to me on all my daily lesson of life from the past and up to present. Do you have a journal or diary? How often do you write on your journal? What motivates you in doing so?

I used to write a diary in my school days. Now I have destroyed that diary and do not write anymore. This is because my bother once got my diary and read all that I had written. He made a scandal of what I had written, specially about my love life. From that day I do not keep any diary.

I used to have a diary but I can't keep one now. One of my friends gave me a journal as a Christmas present last year and I only wrote events that happen to me only at the start of the year. I wasn't able to write down anything that happen to me since then.

Yes, many times that is what they do become... Is daily reminders of what we have gone thru in life, and how we have overcome them. It also might be a way to help teach others about the obstacles in life, and maybe even help give you things you can talk about and share in here as well.

Yes I do have diary, I still keep it until now and I often write on my diary especially when I have a great day or bad day then I will definitely write on my diary. My motivation doing this is for improving my english, I have been writing on my diary since I was in elementary school and somehow it became a habit.

When I was younger and in high school I used to keep a diary faithfully. I wrote in it every single day and wrote about everything that happened in my life. It was very helpful to me to write things down because I have always been better at writing things instead of stating how I am feeling out loud. Anyway I still have a diary today but I only write in it once in a while usually if something really is troubling me I will write in it.
