Hi there myklops, if you've got some extra cash then why not add memory on your pc. Otherwise, always try to perform "Disk Cleanup" to delete temporary files and even files that are still on your recycle bin. Second is "Disk Defragmenter" type "dfrg.msc" on Run. And as what the others suggest is to delete unnecessary files/programs. Hope this helps.

You should delete old useless files. If your computer is low on memory, then that will make your computer slow down. So deleting old and useless files can really help.

I own a non-speed and a non-powerful laptop and I runned Windows Vista until 6 months ago. It went too slow then I installed Linux Mint 13 and now my laptop seems to be 3 times faster than before and I am now happy. I also removed all applications that open at the start of the computer!

Hi! Can you share something about Linux Mint 13? Is it an operating system like Windows?
