Experts Column Success Rate

United States

Ok, I finally was able to submit my first article to experts column. I am curious what the success rate of this site is. I do not need to know the guidelines, etc. I am curious how many articles had to be submitted before one starts seeing movement, or how many months it took to get movement, or what works for you. Do you like the site or not. I know each person is different but I would appreciate any infor you are able to provide. Experts Column is different than I am used to as it is pay per view and not revenue share. Anyway I would be grateful for any insight on the site. Thanks much

Hi, I am in Expers Column and have more than 30 articles there - not much compared with some others, but a beginning. I have trained the writing skills slowly, first with communicating with friends on email, later in myLot and Triond and now I have most of my Triond articles in EC. I have got some more info about professional sites that pay well, but I have to research that more. So far I am using buenavida as a pen name but if I find a really professional site, I might start using my real name..

I am with Triond but like most writers on the site am not happy with earnings. I have read that many Triond writers have republished their articles on Experts Column. How do you do i? Is it easy to do it?

Hi, I only recently learned about expertcolumn. Question: How do you publish an article originally from Triond (written by me, of course)? I already provided expertscolumn my links and blog url. I just don't know how to go about it.

I am sorry I do not know the answer to that, maybe someone else hear can help you. Or you could start a new discussion with that topic. I was never a member of Triond so I have no idea on the process. Thanks for sharing.

hi enjoy the journey. i am not a writer but i discovered lately that i enjoy doing this task hence aside from mylot I ventured into other areas, not really to earn but to feel some sense of fulfillment when i see my ideas and opinions published online. I just joined EC end of July and had published 12 articles to date but earning is very small, smaller that what i get posting here at mylot but I'm happy that I've been able to do it.

Thank you for sharing your experiences to date with EC. I too, have very littleon there. I am getting the opionion from others, that you have to have many many articles on the site before you can see any earnings of merit. Once they are on there though, they keep earning so that is a good thing.

Hi I had joined EC long ago but ignored it till I found out how to make it work. tweet, reddit and shares are the best way to earn from expertscolumn. I tweet manually (don't auto tweet, no one bothers) and sue short introductory word each time different. try it and see your views increase. All the best and keep writing at least two a day. you can also republish.

Thanks for the tip. I took notice of your suggestion of using reddit. I have never used it before. It looks interesting but so far I have quite figured it out. I think I will start a discussion about it so I can learn what I am doing wrong.

I have also been transferring my Triond articles to EC. I have had very little success with Triond and they did not even pay me last month. The account was up for payment Aug. 10th,but it was postponed until the 10th of Sept. I realize I'm new but there was no explanation for it. I decided if they aren't going to pay then they don't need my work.

I came across your discussion. It is good to hear the positive feedback. I think it is a good site so far - I just joined a couple of weeks back. Earning rate per view is decent but you have to write at least 300 words which can be challenging at times. Also, they encourage more words only articles - no photos which eliminates some potential articles.

I have had no problem with Experts Column until this past week when I could not post on the site as when I try to paste, it only pastes the first paragraph. Have you had this experience?
