i have been watching dora the explorer with my child and can noticed about the "backpack". why is it that at the end the backpack says "yum yum yum! deliciouso!" why does he say that word?, it's not really relevant to what he is doing. so i was just wondering why is it like that? what do you think? what can you say about this? just would like to know.

The top 2 posters are correct. I assume you don't speak any Spanish, maybe that is why you are confused? Perosnally, I think the entire show is dumb and I don't let mydaughter watch it. Too many educational and/or quality shows she could be watching.

It's an animation. You see when everything is put back into the backpack, it somehow gives the idea that those are food and they are delicious! I think the writer just want to be creative and something that would attract children would be fun.

hello there, jadoixa! well, if you observed more closely, you'll get to hear those lines after you picked the item you have to get inside the bag, and the rest goes all back in thebag, isn't it? so, meaning, the other items you didn't pick, the bag swallows back. just like the bag is eating and it is yummy and deliscious...got it?
