Should i buy Cities XL 2012?

Hi,
just saw Cities XL again and was asking myself if it's worth the money.
I liked Sim City 4 and like i read it's Sim City'ish.
What do you think?
A game worth trying or can i burn my money instead to have the same fun?
Was kinda thrilled over an online feature until i read they shut it down^^

I had it on but traded it off to be honest. I enjoyed the game quite a bit for a few weeks but after a while (for me personally) it got boring to be honest. The replayability on those kind of games needs to be pretty high in my opinion to hold my own interest. But if you are into those kinda games I'd say go for it. I know it was on sale a while back on steam and i've seen it on sale a few times.

I've never been a fan of 'city-building' themed games.But I do love the graphics though.If you enjoyed the previous series,why not?
