Should i buy Cities XL 2012?

Hi, just saw Cities XL again and was asking myself if it's worth the money. I liked Sim City 4 and like i read it's Sim City'ish. What do you think? A game worth trying or can i burn my money instead to have the same fun? Was kinda thrilled over an online feature until i read they shut it down^^
