The words from my Heart on children........

I know what you mean, dear! That is exactly what I have been telling the teacher of my kids. I ws suggesting to cut on the number of books that the kids have to bring everyday so that the kids would not be suffering from the heavy load in coming to school. I mean, they don;t get to read all of them in a day. They should just set dates where certain books should be brought to school. Just to add to that, my sister stands almost 6 feet tall. But she has a bad posture coz of the big bags that she used to carry to school.

i also feel sad for my kids they bring too many books there is about 3-4 books for one subject and everyday there is 3-4 subject they have to learn in the school plus they have to bring pens pencils and others like scissors or drawing book plus a box of crayons too i hope the education system would help us to solve this problem

My daughter carries and outrageous amount of books home. Not just from class to class but there are times when she has to lug them home too. It would be nice if there was a website that they could go that had their books online so they wouldn't have to carry them. I have seen little tiny children with book bags full that were almost as big as they were. It is a shame and dangerous too.

I've suffered from that too when I was in still in grade school. There were a lot of books to carry. Not to mention all the notebooks and assignment notebooks. Plus other things you need to bring daily. If there are projects too, that means additional stuff to carry.

It happens in my country too. The schools or the teachers did not specify what is the text book and work book to use on a certain day, so the students have no choice but to bring all the text and work books for that subject to school. Just imagine there are typically eight subjects on any given day in the class. How many books will that be! But the situation is getting better after the problem was highlighted numerous times in the media.
