Today our board exam result was released. I was practically shaking while scrolling down to see if my name was on the list of passers. At last it was there. A sense of pride washed over me. Now I am a registered nurse. I hope many had passed that exam and felt as happy as I am.

Dear anil, thank you so much. Although I am feeling kinda sad for my friends and family who didn't make it, my happiness is a bit more than the sadness. Yes I am going to pamper myself. Party! Party!

good luck flapiz!
broaden your horizons, it is understandable that you want to practice your profession but perhaps you can try your hand in other industries as well. read an article that nurses are being encouraged to enter the bpo industry. you might want to check for job opportunities in other cities or countries as well. really depends on you.
well another thing is, this might be the best time for you to take a short vacation. perhaps a month or two wherein you can do your other interests. it is a good time to recharge your batteries to prepare yourself for the job hunt that you'll be undergoing in the next few months or so.
whatever you decide to do, good luck!!!
cheers and happy mylotting!!!

What do you mean by BPO? I am a bit interested. Anyway, I think you are right. I want to experience everything life can offer, but I still need a hospital job though as I need to practice what I learned in school or else I might totally forget those skills.

Congratulations over your successful result. I can very well imagine the sense of pride you are talking about as similar was the case when I topped in my school in high school exams. After then there has been situations whose memories will always be remembered by me and will be duly cherished.

Congratulations!
I know how wonderful it is for your efforts to be recognized. I know how hard it is to pass nursing examinations because I few of my cousins are nurses. They always keep on telling me how hard the exams were. I know a few who did not pass on their first attempt but eventually passed. I find that admirable. Cheers to you new nurse. I know that the responsibility is big.

Dear Tessa, it is indeed a wonderful feeling to get the fruit of my labor. I am very overwhelmed and I want to share my happiness to the world. Yes I understand that there is a great responsibility that I will need to carry, but I am very willing to take it.
Cheers!

My warm congratz and felicitations! You're an RN at last. Thing to face now is to find a job. Which I think is the most difficult thing to do now since we're having discrepancies between the jobseekers-employment ratio.

Yes I need to find a job in the hospital. As my job as a researcher won't count as experience if I wish to go abroad. I don't mind volunteering though so I guess it will be easier to find a job as a volunteer. I don't mind not getting paid as long as I get the experience.

I am really planning to have fun and treat myself. Usually, my family and I would eat out on events like this, but my cousin, who is staying at our house at the moment, didn't pass the same exam and she already took it twice so I guess the party can wait. Maybe I could celebrate discreetly. That's why I'm thankful because I have mylot as an outlet for my triumph. I don't want to make my cousin feel worse you see.
