What happens to our earnings if inactive for long time?

I was active long before and than become inactive for a time. I am not sure if I had earned anything before, but it is obvious that I had earned some cents as I put up some discussions and interacted with the mylot community. I was inactive because of my husbands relocation at job and than getting connected to the internet. I have re-discovered my sites to join back and now I find that my earnings is NIL. I would like to know from the mylotters if the accumulated balance is taken away for being inactive.

From the FAQs: "I haven’t posted anything on myLot for several months. I logged into my account today and my earnings are missing what happened to them? Our terms of use state that if you don’t login to your account at least once over a 90 day/3 month consecutive period of time your earnings are forfeited. Please remember to login at least once every 90 days. You don’t need to post any new discussions or respond to discussions, you just need to login to your account so that we know your account has not gone idle." http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#21 That is why we can say that 'it pays to read them' so that we are aware of everything and do not have any unpleasant surprises.

Thanks for the information. I realized only after putting up the post that I could have referred the FAQ instead of making a post. Anyway, it was nice to get your response over here and clarifying my doubts. Thanks for being supportive. F_T_L: I got a solution, now what about you. Hope you don't lose all your hairs wondering about the change from your car.

Why ever did you leave change (and a pick) in your car in the first place?

Hope no one is drunk while driving or no one has suffered short term memory loss.

Yes so it is in the guildelines or somewhere. Very sorry about that But am sure its a few dollars except if you got lots of referrals, anyways all those time you spent on discussions and replies and tasks.OMG, I feel your pain friend, Don't worry about it, just continue and in no time you would make payout again. Happy Mylotting friend.

Oh....... never mind. It must be less than a buck (in cents). And don't worry much as I got not a single referral so far. I am alone fighting my poorness and surviving the patty expenses. Thanks for being compassionate.

So is the problem with me. I too don't know the way to earn referrals. Therefore I rely only on my activeness. However, I once could able to generate 15 referrals for myself and that is the highest and only success. Thanks for all the wishes and all. Have nice time ahead.

O my friend you really need to tÉll me how you got that 15 referrals because I really need that now

Hi there! I think by now you would have got the answer to your question. Keeping absent for a long time could forfeit your earnings and other mylotters tend to forget you that you 'exist' on this platform. You could join us once in a while or when the time permits. All the best.

Yes the above response is perfect and I have seen many people brought up this topic that their money had come to zero when they did not log in the mylot account. It says 90 days not used account will have the balance go back to zero. You must log in every now and then so that you maintain the earnings. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Thanks for your wishes and response. I shall take special care not to be away from the community that long. I felt I was missing something but not before entering this site and realize that it was the community interactions I used to have before.

I am going to be less active here in a few days once school starts again, so I was wondering about something related to what you were. I wonder I'd logging in every so often is sufficient or whether we should also start or respond to a discussion in order to maintain our earnings during our periods of inactivity. I will probably just take the few minutes to respond to a discussion or two, but this would be helpful to know.

If you read my response above you will see that it is enough just to log in without posting

That sentence is supposed to start "I wonder if...", by the way. Darn you autocorrect...
