i will admit that i cannot leave facebook at any instance, though, my time is being spent here most of the time. i guess the proportion of mylot to facebook is 75:25. 75 percent of my time is spent in writing, starting, replying a discussion here in mylot. while the 25 percent was being used as to post status, upload pictures, replying to any comments and such in facebook. facebook rooted to the lives of millions of people all over the world. since this social site is being used as a communications to everybody (family, relatives, friends), i can say that meeting them in here for a chat is a very practical thing to do and to have aside from using video calls (well, fb has this kind of application too). if you do not have net at home. here in the philippines, you will just pay ten pesos in the net cafes for an hour to log-in to internet. since too, that i am an old member of this prestigious site, i almost befriended to my old friends in here, classmates before, people who worked in a far away place and also meet new friends. if you are bored for nothing happened in your notification for awhile, you can enjoy yourself for you can choose online games to suit yourself as to kill the time (though i am not after to any gamings in here because busy in mylot). you can upload pictures too, share a link and pages, and etc. facebook is an enjoyable site so as like mylot. but the great difference is that, you can earn in mylot while cannot receive a single penny in facebook therefore, both sites are essential to my life as of now but so to say, i spent lots of my times in mylot because of earnings and that in facebook, i used for it for communication and for some entertainment.
