I have always been independent ever since I was in college up to the time i was already working. I moved out of my parents house ten years ago with my sister to start living on our own. It was the best time of my life.I do things on my own, cook, clean the house, budget for the house.I dont have to bother anybody for anything. It was really liberating. Now i'm back in my parents house because i quit job 2 yrs ago to review and take the Licensure exam. I so miss my independent life.

Being independent from your parents is such a very honorable and great thing your ourself. It really teaches what is really life.I know it is not easy at first and especially if your alone but at the end you will realized that doing that is really giving you a memorable real lesson in life.

Yes, living independently will teach you us how life really is. Because there will be the time that no one will be there for you because every one is gone. And you should start up again from the start. Living independently will teach us how hard it is our parents are working for us.

Same goes for me, I also experienced that. And I miss it too badly. But I had to go back to my parents house because I got sick. I missed those days where all I need to think about is myself. There are ups and downs but I really love the feeling of being independent. Thanks for sharing.
