Do you seperate your children's piggy bank or give them piggy bank seperately?
How often and how much money do you put in your children's piggy bank?
I just had my second child, I'm wondering how I should do it to be fair.
Would you let your children use this piggy money as pocket money in the future? or are you saving this for college fund?

I don't have a piggy bank for my son but I do have two bank accounts in his name. We are saving it for the future.
Two years ago, there was a shortage of coins in our country because most people kept them in a piggy bank. So the Central Bank requested people not to keep piggy banks as it would stop the circulation of the coins. Main reason why I don't keep piggy bank.

oh really? I never heard something like this happen, I thought the bank could make more coins if there are not enough in the market.

Of course they could, but that would affect the economy because that would mean more expenses for the government. They have to buy, nickel, silver, gold to make more coins.
It was all over the news in my country and they even make public announcement that people shouldn't keep piggy banks.
