We're currently living in a place where has no Ocean, the closest ocean will be 5 hours driving to California. I miss swimming in the ocean a lot. I used to go to the beach everyday after sch and after work... I guess it is not something that I cannot live without but it is definitely I miss very very much. What about you? Are you big fans of Ocean?

Where I live is about as far as you can get from any ocean in the United States. I do live close enough to drive to some lakes. Not the same as an ocean but still fun.

Yes I am a big fan oceans. Oceans was one of my best friend till my childhood. I used to spend hours in front of it. My school was situated very near to the ocean and I spend my most of the interval time by looking into them. I enjoy it .

We're actually very far also from the ocean to where we are living. But it's also nice because it's very rainy here in our country so when the water overflows places near the ocean our very flooded. We also love beaches, we always visit beaches here in country during summer.

In that case, you don't want to live close the ocean... but where I used to live was nothing like that., the Ocean won't get too crazy even with some typhoon because of the surroundings mountains.

I'm a beach bum. I have over a dozen collection of swim wears. I go the sea as often as i can. I usually go to an island with white sand and snorkel. I love watching beautiful and colorful coral reefs under water. I like exploring the sea. I would definitely miss that when I move this October. But i'll see to it I get to visit the sea once a year.

I have a lot of colorful swimming suit also which are tucked in the dresser now because I don't get to wear them as much whne I used to live close to the beach and I just had a baby so I'm not proud of wearing them right this moment...

Yes, I can live without the ocean. I'm only a couple hours away from it, but haven't been there in years. As it is my kids have never been there and they're 15 and 12. I'd love to take them one day so they can experience it, though I myself can do without all that darn sand. Happy mylotting!

I live in England and at the moment I live in a coastal town. My bungalow is just three to four miles from the sea. I have to live near to the coast like within an hours drive. It is much better for me if I live even closer like less than half an hours drive. It takes five to ten minutes to drive to the ocean from my home. I would hate to live far from the ocean and if I did life would be miserable for me. I have a strong need to live near to the seaside. I used to live in a village about half an hours drive from the coastline. There I had a choice of many different beaches, north, east or south of where I used to live. I lived in Kent and could go to there or East Sussex coastline. I liked Hastings for days out and there were excellent beaches around the Viking Coastline from Margate to Ramsgate.

I grew up in a house where the beach/ocean was just a few minutes away. It was something that I got accustomed to be always near. I moved half way around the world. Although I could still get to a beach within an hour's drive, I've not been in one lately. I've been in a few lakes, specially this summer, and I think this has made me not miss the ocean too much.
