Hey guys! So my daughters birthday is tomorrow and I'm basically all set up. The only thing I need help with would be idea for fun games for the kids. They'll be a age range of about 2-6 here and approx. 8 kids. My question is, what are some fun games that you could play to entertain the little ones at a birthday party. I already have put the candle on the cupcake (pin the tail on the donkey basically) but what else can I add? Any help is really appreciated =]

HI AXMORALES, I love having birthday parties and I just celebrated my youngest daughters earlier this month. It all depends on if they are boys and girls and if the party is outside. We had coloring books for the young kids that perhaps were to young to enjoy games. Some ideas that I have done in the past was to let them dig for treasures. I had a container full of sand and hid little toys, fake rings and such and had the kids look for them. I also had them decorate cupcake ice cream cones or lollipop cookies. If you want a neater, cleaner games you can always do beanbag toss, or color coded scavenger hunt. I have done an outdoor hunt where they look for leaves twigs flowers and such.. These are all unisex games and the kids enjoy them. Happy Birthday to your little one!

Hey Krupar5! I think I should just count on your good advice from now on. haha. Those are perfect ideas. I think there should be some boys coming too. The party will most likey be inside and out. It's going to be at my house and we are also having a barb-q, so I'm guessing kids will be running around everywhere. I think I'll try that scavenger hunt one. Sounds interesting and unique. Thanks for such great advice!

The age of the guests really vary for only 8 kids. The level of each child in that age range greatly varies. You can try games like stop and go/ red light green light, musical chairs, simon says. The two year old may not be as good at the games as the others so you might want to make sure if you give out prizes you give a special prize for trying. That said the two year old will still have fun at the moving around. Congrats on your little one and Happy Birthday to her.
