With VVS Laxman retiring recently and Rahul Dravid already retired and Sachin Tendulkar not getting any younger..........Do you guys think that Indian youngsters can fill in the voids left by these great batsmen who have performed well for India for more than a decade in India ad Overseas.More importantly what is the future of Indian Test Cricket after these Greats are gone?

Our youngsters are too good in ODI matches. But they are not that much well in the case of test matches. They need work a little more. Recently we have got another youngster Chetheswar Pujara, and many of us consider him as the future Rahul Dravid. But I should it is so difficult to find a player like Rahul David .

I think if youngsters are allowed to play domestic cricket of other countries and the fast pitches most probably they will get some experience and will do better overseas. I think BCCI should allow Indian cricket young players to play in 20/20 cricket of other countries.

The only worry for me is that how they perform overseas as I have no doubts about them performing in Sub-Continent. That will be the biggest challenge for our young players and with some many ODI's and T-20 matches it will be quite interesting to see that do they have the patience to play long test match innings.

Let me tell you that they can't play their whole life so new players must get chance to shoe that they are better than previous ones. So, I assure you that India will have many great Tournaments with these youngsters.

The youngsters should maximum utilize their opportunity. In the previous day we have seen how well Ravichnadra Ashwin is bowling. He was too brilliant with his bounce and variation of spins .

It is exciting times for young Indian batsmen as there are as many as 3 spots that are open in the Indian batting line up. There is a fourth which will open up when Sachin moves on. Of the 3 spots two players have already laid their claim for two spots in Pujara and Kohli. For the third spot, the one occupied by Ganguly, none has really staked the claim with Raina and Yuvraj not really faring well at this level. So that is one area where we still need to find solutions.
Cheers!

I think India have enough players to build a good team.
There are a lot of youngsters available, we need to try these youngsters by giving them chances.
India will have a good team in future, but the Legends like Sachin, Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid cant be completely replaced.
And sometime new legends will be discovered.

This has been the talk amongst all cricket lovers for quite some time now. Indian team has produced some really great cricketing giants in past two decades. And with them peaking nearly at the same time, they have become the highlight of our team. As they are shedding off one by one, I have no doubt that our young brigade will try and maintain the same standards and take Indian cricket to new heights. They make take sometime as the bar has been raised to a good level but I think there cannot be anything more motivating for them and would definitely keep them going.
