I think mostly in villages lots of women use the bathing soap like lux, hamam, medimix etc. for washing hair and I think their hair is in good quality. Not all women but some. I am using shampo but my hair is to much falling I cant understand what should I do to stop the falling hair. What you think bathing soap is good or damage the hair. Is any suggestion for stopping the falling hair.

I don't use bathing soap for my hair. I use shampoo. For falling hair, there are several shampoos for falling hair that is out in the market. When I was a kid my grandma used to put coconut oil on my scalp to make my hair shiny and strong. I don't know if it will help for falling hair as well.

Shampoo has detergents in it, therefore, it may be harmful to hair. I use soap only for washing my hair.

fantabulus: Using a standard shampoo for hair cleaning is good than using soap. However the result will depend on other factors like environment pollution, stress level, health level of the person and to some extent on genes also. for me no problem-- not much hair--having crossed 60.

Hi fantabulus, It depends on members who are using that, bathing soaps will set for some people's hair and for other people it won't set and the thing to understand is that bath soap is not designed to clean hair, it's made to clean the skin on the body and I think you better to don't go to bathing soup and you can get solution for that in saloons or beauti parlours or you can directly contact doctor for this there you will get perfect solution, even there are number of products in the market like anit hair fall shampoos and anti hair fall oils as well. I hope you will get better solution for your problem, All the best

hi ,i too heard about this, the village people use soap for washing hair, but that's not good at all, but i agree, city people are facing much of hair fall problem, even in our city, the hair is getting grey at a smaller age, even in school age, so we cant help it, the pollution is the main culprit, and also our eating habits which has changed drastically, over the years, taking medicines is also of no use at all, we should shift to the country side, it may help then

Yes white or gray hair is the problem of the small age persons. I also think this not proper food and pollution both are the reason for this.

bathing soap is for your body, not for your hair, don't think that since the village people use soap for hair, they don't have hair-fall. first of all, village water is clean, no much chemicals. they mostly use fresh water from well and spring water. whereas, city people, there is chlorine added to water. which may harm your hair. Second, they oil their hair, massage their hair regularly, and also don't use much of chemicals like we city people do. we hardly use oil to our hairs, also we use hair spray, go to parlor, do lots of stuff with our hairs. even i had hair fall problem. About water, you can't do much, unless you settle down in some village and use fresh clean water. which is mostly not possible. i regularly massage my hair with oil, i mostly use, Almond oil, Coconut oil. if you have dandruff problem, get rid of it, that's the main reason for hair fall. Use good quality shampoo and also conditioner. i try to avoid using hair dryer, unless i am in a hurry to go somewhere. and also i stopped using hair spray. my hair-fall is almost stopped. hardly 1-2 hair falls when i comb my hair.

Fanta, i live in the town area and used to using hair shampoo to wash my hair. When my grandmother living in the village before she used to wash her hair with bathing soap, too. I see her hair seems not falling at all. Only the hair is not really soft, a little bit rough. Nowadays, my grandmother start to learn to use shampoo since her favorite bathing soap is not available in the market anymore.

Is you are living a very stressful life? Before when i was always busy and not getting enough sleep and worrying a lot while my child is still small and naughty, my hair falls a lot. Besides that, try to check your food intake as well. Having a balanced food intake is healthy for our body, hair and mind as well.

Falling hair has been my problem as well. I tried different shampoos but none of them really works. So I guess that it has nothing to do with the shampoo we use. I haven't tried using bath soap for washing my hair but I have this feeling that it will dry my hair if I use it but I will try to do that and will update you.

Look dear bathing soap cannot be an option for your hair fall.use only shampoo for your hair that also too less because shampoo are made up of chemicals and more use may cause hair fall.if possible use calamine or gram flour to wash your hair frequently.moreover hairfall can also be restricted by making your diet healthy.avoid too much dust.

put coconut oil or sunflower oil. Comb your hair before washing it. ANd find the right shampoo for your hair. It is also good to treat your hair with milk. ( powdered milk diluted in water is good too) This will nourish your hair with protein to make your hair stronger.:D

Personally no matter what a person decides to use on their hair, they need to always remember, that what works for one person may not always work for another. That is why there are so many different types of soaps and shampoos out there. I know personally I switch all the time, and some work better than others. I stay away from shampoos which might weaken or put more of a layer on them to help prevent some of the breakage for sure. I know for me being Diabetic can weaken my hair, plus I know there are medications people take plus age that do not help either. Someone once said taking prenatal vitamins even if you are not pregnant will help, but this is something I have never tried.

I think bath soap had been around for years and is being used for cleaning hair before, aside for what is intended for it, to wash away dirt and cleanses our body. Before there is no shampoos used, our elders used ordinary bath soap for their hair. I have seen my grandmother before using a small piece of bark of a special tree wherein when soaked in water, pounded and rub to hair produces a lather that cleanses their scalp and their hair. Today it's not practice anymore because it was replace by shampoos. I think shampoo will do more damages than what it says because of the chemicals mixed in it. This is just my opinion.

What you said is just a outer appliaction for hair. Actually it is not working as one hope for. Only diets which contains healthy and full of protein and aminoacids are required. This will grow hair not the shampoo or soap. it will clean hair nothing more than that.
