I have always loved Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With the Wind. She was spoiled, rude, bold ruthless and an orginal bad girl. She did not care who she had to plow through, mow down, cheat, swindle and lie to. She had spunk. I think at time we all have a little bit of Scarlett in us.
Here is my favorite quote from Gone With the Wind:
"As God is my witness,as God is my witness, they're not going to lick me. I am going to live through this, and when it is all over I will never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat or kill. As God, as my witness, I will never be hungry again."
Here is a woman, starving, tyring to find turnips in barren ground, who rises up defiant, ready to go forward and not only survive but thrive.
I just so admire women with spunk.

I just loved Scarlett O'Hara. She is one my models in life: always trying to find solutions, never giving up, loving with all the spirit (loving the land is more powerful that everything else), not forgeting that she is a women.
I find so inspiring that she can keep her brain in function in the most difficult situations and focus on what she can do.
Ans she is also so charming :)

I really think that there should be more women in the world that have the spunk of Scarlett O'Hara. I tend to think that many women that are from the south are very similar to her, but I think the further north you go, the fewer people that have the same kind of personality and spunk that Scarlett O'Hara had.
She really is the perfect definition of the way that a true southern woman acts, even today.
