My birthday was yesterday and oldest sons was today. here in AZ the time is 3 hours earlier, sometimes 2 hrs when it comes daylight savings time. since we never change our time from other states. my sons dad called at 5am
to wish him a happy birthday! Im usually the only one to get woke up because one phones in my bedroom and the others in kitchen and front room. So i wasnt a happy camper for having to roll out of bed so early. My ex said I hear its birthday season out there. so im calling to wish you all a happy one. his present wife grabs the phone from him and starts singing happy birthday. he says hey, its Bonnie on the phone and she says I know! and finished the song to me. 
i couldnt be mad after that. This woman has seldom spoken to me and id heard she was always a bit jealous. it warmed my heart toward her. have you ever been surprised with someones attitude like that?
he said he would call back later to wish son happy bd.

Happy Birthday to both of you, what a wonderful occasion
to celebrate together 
. Not much surprises on my birthday
so far except one that I will remember forever. On my birthday,
I actually received an email, but I only open it next day since
I am away and without the internet facilities.
The email is from Resort World Singapore that congratulates me
that I have won the Golden Holiday of 3Day 2Night at the resort
with Universal Studio Singapore VIP tour, hotel stay in their
luxurious suite, and A 'Voyage de La Vie' live show. This was
the best birthday present ever, it was fantastic that I was
able to celebrate with my family together. I am forever thankful
to Resort World Singapore and God for such a surprise present!

i did and the most useful tho came way before my BD. my bed.

It is a surprise when you expect a gritch and you get a song instead. I have found that people I thought did not like me did actually and it was surprising. I trust you had a good birthday all day. I would have been awake if it was a work day but I still would not want a phone call that early.

yes the thing is im usually a terrible grinch when im planning on sleeping in and i have to get up and answer the phone cause no one else will and everyone who knows me knows that so maybe thats why she sang to me.

Happy Birthday to both of you. How neat your sons and your birthday land on the same day. That must have been a wonderful birthday present for you the year he was born. I wouldnt want to be woken up at 5 am either but that was very nice for it to be happy birthday wake up call instead of a telemarketer.

yes it wasnt so bad when i realised she was singing to me so i couldnt be mad. yes his BD is one day after mine, so we celebrate together when we are together.

Maybe the jealousy is over and she just want you to know that she was beside your ex while talking you on the phone. There's a lot of reason behind but the most important she greeted you and be happy on your day.

Hmmmm, why in the world would they call at that time in the morning? 
They must know it's 5:00am there in Arizona, no? That's the only part I find strange about this whole scenerio.
Yes, that was nice of her to sing to you but I guess I would still be skeptical about it all, especially since she's seldom spoken to you, but that's just me.
If it makes you happy then good, that's all that counts.

yes i know its weird. made me start wondering if they'd started drinking again. but then lots of times family back there, cant seem to remember its 3 hrs earlier here if they never lived here. plus, those were never the sharpest bunch. shame on me for saying that one but just trying to make a point

Could it be possible that she's just a good actor? She may have wanted to stop because she found out it was you but didn't want to be rude or hurt your feelings. Who knows maybe her jealousy is over with since you are farhter away now and the "threat" is less?
I think I'd be really unhappy to be woken up so early just for a birthday wish, but depending on who it was I'd soon forgive and forget.

we did go out to eat in the evening after we found out my daughter in ohio was ok after an accident, so it turned out pretty nice and thankful also.

Well let me start off this way, Happy birthday to you and your son. Now you are lucky to have someone warm up to you that was not so nice in the past. I have never experienced that before. But you never know. Maybe one day the evil ex would warm up to my girl friend. Anyway, enjoy your birthday and tell your son to enjoy his.

Well, that does sound a little off to me. But either way. I wish the evil ex would let go and talk to my girl friend. But I just don't see that happening. I think the evil ex is jealous. For what I don't know, she is with another guy these days herself.

actually, it may not be that shes done right. cause im quite sure you shouldnt be thinking you done anything wrong. could be like in my case and his, we were to young to keep working at it like we should have. and shes stuck with him for almost 40 yrs because she liked to drink and crouse also for years and was a lot like him. plus, she probably figured she couldnt get another guy that good looking because most people judge by the outside. especially men. when they got together, he had gotten drunk and made her pregnant. he was a caring father when he wasnt out gone drinking. anyway, he stayed with her long enough to think she was a good kind person. like he used to joke around when she wasnt there about that song. if you want to be happy dont make a pretty woman your wife poor woman she probably heard about it and that was the reason for her jealousy. im just saying if you and ex arent friends its not your fault. you already said wish you could be.

oh the rumors were correct for years. she showed it but my ex didnt notice certain things. anyway, im glad shes over it now. unless there was some other reason for it. anyway it made me happy.

now that its a few days later iam a bit also. im thinking, she didnt know it was me until she had already started singing and when he said it was me, she could do nothing but continue and pretend she did. thats what my kids have said anyway.
