Kevin Pietersen dropped from the England's team after making a sensational hundred in the 2nd test against South Africa. But the question is that is the ECB doing the right thing dropping Kevin Pietersen from the team, because he has been the best batsman for the team for many years now and they still rely on him and he makes such an impact as a player and no matter what they can never find a player like KP again. Is this the end of Kevin Pietersen ....................but the question still remains did ECB did the right thing by dropping Kevin Pietersen

He is just a superb player, especially in twenty-twenty matches. Also he was the player of the tournament in the last t20 world. He was just rocking in the previous IPL season and his absence will indeed make some trouble in Englad's squad in the coming t20 world cup .

No doubt, he is magnificent, but as of now, he has no place in the ODI side. Jonny Bairstow who is in sublime form is also sitting out. Bell has just replaced him so well at the top of the order that KP now not only needs to solve his issues in dressing room and ECB but also hope that England does not keep winning One-Day matches him (4-0 drubbing of Oz was no small feat).

I think it was a bold and correct move by the ECB. No player can get bigger than the team and disciplinary issues need to be tackled really hard whatever be the cost. ECB has sent a strong message to all the players at all levels with their treatment of Kevin Peterson that such rubbish would not be tolerated however big the player is. So I actually think they did the right thing for the game by dropping him.
Cheers!

I think it is not a good decision to drop Kevin Pietersen from the England. He is a a player who can really turn the game. Along with it, he is the one of the batsmen who can shook and throw the bowlers all over the ground. I am quite sure that England will suffer with this decision.

As far as i know i think he violated some rules of ECB and in reaction they dropped him, in fact they i think retired him so he most probably will not play for England any more. as far as your question is concern, i think ECB is doing it all wrong, KP is no doubt one of the best batsman in the world, even though i'm not from England but i love watching him play. I think ECB should review their decision after he has apologized for his mistakes. Beside big player do make big blunder.
