Last Friday afternoon, I saw my friend crying but she wore a jacket so it couldn't be noticed but too bad, my eyes are keen observers that I easily noticed her face. She was with my other friend acting as a comforter. I sat next to them without a word hearing their conversations. What totally shocked me was what they're talking about. They're talking about the abuses they are receiving from their parents. My friend told me the reason why she is crying. It was her mom actually who send her a message with contains these content, "Teh, virgin kapa?", that is translated in English as "So, you're still a virgin?". Oh, what a mom, what actually hurts is that she was addressed that way by her mom. Maybe she thinks her daughter is so untrusted. And my other friend also shared the cruelty of her parents to her. She said that whatever her mom holds would be what she's going to use to hit her. She shared a story that when she was young, she's been hit by both her parents using iron rods. Too cruel, I am glad my parents weren't that cruel.

Can't believe a mom would actually asked her daughter in such sarcasm. I don't know what kind of mom she is. There are appropriate ways to talk to daughters about such sensitive issues. If she believes her daughter isn't virgin anymore, they must sit together and talk about it. Rather than just sending it through SMS and in such insulting tone.

You're right enelym. Actually, my friend felt so bad and she's messaging her mom in a bad manner because she said she can't hold on what she feels.

Her mom was surprised her daughter is a virgin? Is that her way of saying she thought she was a wh2re? How old is your friend? Does she have any other relatives? My first reaction is to get her out of that house. No child should be hit like that. Or be demeaned like that.

this is entirely shocking and those kind of parents must be complained and strict action must be taken against them,i cant tolerate such kind of idiotic and suppressive mindset of parents anytime

Hi friend, sad to hear about this incidents, parents must trust their kids and guide them in a good way, instead of abusing them in this way. Hope this parents will realize the facts.

If that's the way they discipline their child to hit them, that a way too bad. I also have children and two were girls, I can never imagine myself talking to my child that way. It is too sad that there are parents like that, they should be the one who protects and understand their kids, not hurting them and demoralized them in any way around.

I had parents like that for 15 years, then I left. What is cruel and still is shocking me is that nothing is changed through all the years. People just say they are shocked, but nobody will help you if it comes to it. Nobody cares as long as it doesn't concern them. Most of the time you are even called a liar.

That's so sick! I can't believe her parents had the nerve to hurt their own kid! My parents would spank me when I was little but they never did anything to damage by body and spirit. I grew up okay, I think, and that is without the heavy hands and verbal abuses from my parents. Is she still a minor? She needs help.
