India won the first test against New Zealand by an innings and 115 runs. Batting first 3 Indian batsman did well Cheteshwar Pujara with 159, Virat Kohli with 58 & MS Dhoni with 73.
When New Zealand came to bat they had no answer to Ravichandran Ashwin & Pragyan Ojha spin. Ravichandran Ashwin too 6 wickets & Pragyan Ojha 3 wickets in both New Zealand innings to take India to win by an innings and 115 runs.
Hope India can maintain this rhythm and win the series comfortable ...

Its too easy fo India in the sub continent.Congratulations Team India.Second test also could be an innings defeat for the visitors. We should take this as a practice season for preparing for the aussie.Against them we should clean sweep...Th this is India ยก!!!!

The current NewZealand squad does not have any players of the calibre of Nathan Astle, Stephen Flemming, Lou Vincent or bowlers like Daryl Tufey or Shane Bond. No wonder then, that this NewZealdn side is not causing much trouble to India. Still, the Indian spinners bowled well, and Pujara's knock proved decisive.

Yeah, its good to see India winning by an innings. Indians really played superbly, and its not easy to defeat India especially in Indian pitches.
Indian players played superbly. Ashwin was at his best, pujara also played well.
Hope India will whitewash the series....

Definitely this is a good day for India. We have won the first match against New Zealand for 115 and an innings. Indian spinners were too good and they picked up in total 18 wickets within 2 days. Ravichandra Aswin picked up another 6 wickets in this innings too and he was awarded as the man of the match .

Not only Ravichandra Ashwin. I hope the whole Indian players will put a great effort in the next game and make the series in their hands

India will surely win the 2nd match also because as we seen NZ players were having great difficulty to make runs against Indian bowlers. And the Indian batsmen are in a great form. And they are the best and they will be the best in the whole series.

I also believe that India will win the second match too. Ravichandra Aswin is the key player. Almost all the New Zealand batsmen has struggled a little with Aswin's deliveries. He has some good variations and he utilized his maximum. He has picked up 12 wickets in the first match and I hope he will continue his good performance in the next match too .

It was a one-sided match all the way. India only scored 438 runs in the first innings and yet managed to win by an innings and 115 runs and that says a lot. To add to it the match ended well within 4 days even with a lot of time washed away due to rain. I think the Kiwis are now dancing to the spin twins tunes. Ashwin was terrific in the match with 12 wickets in the match. Pragyan was also very good with his haul of 6 wickets in the match.
Cheers!
