I have same experience like this. I am very upset when my best friend for many years suddenly changed. She's now living abroad and I found her through facebook. I sent her friend's request and she accepted it, but she never send me a single message after I send her many...really sad. People really changed by time.

hi jheyan welcome to mylot. yes it happens and I gound that had I made the first move this time we could reclaim that friendhip'we had as children and never thought we w ould not be best friends. Now we are both 85 and lving a thousand miles apart my friend's daughter gave her a laptop,Dorothy found my sons website and through him she fou nd me again. nOw we email back and forth and have renewed our frinedship even though we both have changed a bit. She is still a staunch republican I a democrat which took her awhile to get used to but our friendship is stil going.,Perhpas you can find ways to rekindle yours too. remember new friends are the silver, but old friends the gold., you keep both of t hem as they are priceless.
