Today, the facebook is the most famous social networking site. But my question is will facebook be the best social networking site in the future too or it will be overthrown by any other social networking site. The time is so powerful that its tooth can gnaw away everything. What do you think friends.

Depends,
if someone creates a better social networking site than Facebook, you never know what will in future.
few years back, Orkut was the best networking sites, but now, none of my friends use Orkut any more. All of them are on Facebook.
Also if Facebook, keeps improving themselves, there won't be any match for them.

Yes I was also an active orkut member. And when some of friends joined in facebook and invited me too. Then almost all of my friends left orkut and joined facebook . I have also invited some of my orkut friends to join in facebook .

Yes, it is possible but there is difficulty... However the rate of increase of members may increase on the mylot due to some favorable amendments in the mylot.

I guess we can say that FB is no. 1 today but no one can really tell in the coming years. If you have remembered Friendster, they did good too during their time but now I don't now if they could get back the glory they had before.
Or maybe, as we are discussing about this someone is thinking of something to compete with FB. Let's just wait and see.

Just like any other social networking site, Facebook has a lifespan; these type of sites are just fads, which eventually lose to the next-generation trend. Before Facebook, I remember people talking about MySpace, Friendster, and even Xanga. While each of these sites were popular at some point, the popularity will wane after time passes. Although I am uncertain about the next-generation site, it will probably go through a life cycle that is similar to its predecessors.

yes currently facebook is the world number one most poplar social network, but they they have a lot of rivals such as myspace, tagged, interpals etc, so if they are not serious, they will soon be overthrown by those sites. for instance currently, they are found of blocking and disabling people accounts any how, so they minimize it.

I think no one can predict it. Before facebook, as far as I know there was friendster which was ousted by facebook. So, in near future facebook may also overthrown by any other social networking site. It all depends on the management of facebook. If any such new site is launched which has a better management than facebook and if facebook cannot cope with the facilities offered by that new site, facebook may have the same fate as friendster which is no longer a popular site now. So for its long lasting survival, facebook must have to keep pace with the demands of the younger generation who would be the last word for taking the final decision about it.

hi there!
First, there was friendster, now we have facebook. Instagram, twitter and other social networking sites are becoming a fad today. Humans would always want to have a new one, I think facebook will have its downfall some time. Let's enjoy it for the mean time.
Happy mylotting!
