I have made a change, It is now my belief that anytime I meet some one new it is because this is meant to be. If you just take a short time to recognize all of the things that have to come together to make that meeeting happens you will understand why I now have this belief. I have also decieded to change my attitude from one of protection to one of inquiry and interest. Listen instead of speaking in going to be my primary goal. You may ask why I have changed, well I am now old enough to no longer care what people think of me, I'd much more spend my energy finding out about them. In my 70s don't you think it's about time for this change?

Well I truly believe that everything happens for a reason whether its good or bad. I believe everyone we meet comes into our lives for a reason which we may not know at the time why; but we will know later on down the line. Some people come into our lives for a short period of time but helps us in that period and then we have other people who are in our lives forever. I believe the people for a short period of time were needed to be there for us or for them. I believe God has it all planned out for us and we learn from it all from the good and beautiful and the bad and and ugly of it all.

I'm also a believer in everything happens for a reason. When something happens or a person enters our life it happens for a reason for either good or bad. We all learn something out of these reasons and it's not for us to decide why or why not it happens, for in the end you will find out.

Everything that we have now family, friends or just mere acquaintances, happy moments and even sad moments has a reason. We may never know it in the beginning but as time goes by it will reveal in it's own.

I guess, but I am still guarded. I do not believe that meeting people is because it is meant to be. It happens in life. We do have the ability to avoid meeting people. I think that as I age that I would be more guarded as I get older in fear of getting hurt or attacked by someone. I would not be so trusting like that. You just never know.

Hi,
When we meet some people suddenly then we think that we meet them coincidentally. But I think everything in our life happens by a reason. There should be some reason behind everything happens in our life. We meet some people, some people leave us, some become our friends, some become ou enemies. All things happen as per God's direction.

True. Nothing is a coincidence, we just think some events are because of our limited perception.

I really do think that the people we meet along our journey in life is for a reason. It may not even be for a reason we ever know but it is for something. I think that even in momentary passing we can effect someone's life. A smile that lifts a fallen spirit or just a kind word exactly when they needed it. No more than holding a door. We go on and forget but there are people out there that we pass that hold us very close after the chance encounter. I am using some positive examples but I have to remember the other aspect too. If I am sour or unkind, it can have an effect too. I really think about that when I interact with people.

There was a time in my life that I thought that we did meet all of the people that we know in our lives as a result of some kind of a coincidence. However, that is a view that actually changed for me when I was still a teenager. I started to realize then that the reason that we encounter people in our lives is because of the fact that they are going to have some kind of an impact on us.
At one point in time I was able to trace the importance of a single person that I encountered in my life by looking back through the people that connected us together.
