I am trying a new recipe as usually I make apple in the microwave. This one is made in the oven with strawberries. Its very similar just less sugar, and will be crispy bit mushy. It smells so good, and I cant wait to try it. Ill have a scoop of ice cream on the side, as I don;t have any whip cream.

Ohhhh yummy save some for meeeeeeeeeeeeee. I'll be right over if you're offering. It sounds very good. I saw a recipe i one of my magazines this year about making one and I still haven't gotten a chance. I got strawberries today so I might. I know they're not as healthy as my home grown ones though. Oh well.

That sounds like something that would be really tasty. I am definitely a person that loves strawberries and there is nothing that is made from strawberries that I've ever eaten that I didn't enjoy. It sounds like it would be heavenly to eat while it is still warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to go with it. It would be really similar to eating cobbler ala mode, which is one of my favorite kinds of deserts.

Ohhhh, you'll have to tell us how it tastes!! We discovered apple crisp just a few months ago (I guess we can call it a simple version of apple pie). I'll bet the strawberry version would be good - especially during the summer (with ice cream like you said)!! Was is anything like strawberry pie?

What I normally do is, cutting fajita tortillas into triangles, then you slice strawberries and put them on top, leave the whole thing in the oven until the triangles are crunchy, then you sprinkle it with melted choco or cinnamon.
