Animals are always being used to test the newest scientific discoveries. I understand that it is inhuman do test on live humans and that it is all done for development. But does it give us the right to test on animals, they are alive and can feel pain too.

I totally agree with you! You see animals being abused every day by people that aren't using them for scientific discoveries. Just had a thought: instead of using humans or animals and in this day of technology and all. Someone should invent something on the computer. Some of these graphics that are used in playing some of these games are as if you're there in real life. I'm sure if a person knows how to collect data, they could use a computer to put information on as if it was a real person or animal. If it could be done, think of how many animals/people would be saved. It might even be faster? Something to think about.

That's a great idea. If it works, I'm sure this solution would make both sides happy. Not only are the humans and animals free from testing but this technology will prove to be a great milestone in the development of technology.

hi there!
I so love animals, got 3 dogs and 12 cats. I do believe that's inhuman to test these products on animals, they do have feelings like ours. Let's put it the other way around, what if humans are the one tested by the animals? how would we feel?

Don't do onto others what you don't want done on yourself. If we were in the animals shoes, i'm sure we would understand thier pain and suffering from being tested and sepearated from thier loved ones. No living creature would want to experiece that.

I love animals. And I feel sorry that we have to use some animals for test. It is inhuman but at least it is better to use a human being to have a test. And encusre the new product or medicine really work well for human beings, at first these are tested by the animals. Probably using more mice rather than dogs can make us feel better.
I love China

It is inhuman to test on animals but companies do it all the time. It does hurt and or kill the animal and some animals are going extinct or are endangered from this. I agree with what you said stoutjodee that if we could do something with the technology we have today we could save many humans and animals. I hate that people test o n animals. I mean there are people that abuse animals already that are not for testing. why people do this i do not know , but wish the abuse would stop and the testing as well.

Nowadays, science is so advanced that a laboratory would be able to test if something would be harmful on us just by doing computer simulations and other tests. There is no need to test on animals whatsoever, thats just horrible and cruel, I am not buying any brands that do this, I only buy organic stuff from a website that is vegan and cruelty free.

I am totally against testing on animals. It is cruel and vicious. And in some cases totally without reason. Some of the tests have no basis other than sick curiosity or the need to inflict incredible pain. I belonged to PETA for years and worked to persuade companies to stop animal testing. Some of them actually did. Some nights I went to bed crying because of undercover videos I saw and the things I read about. I finally had to end my membership because I couldn't stand it anymore. But PETA does a wonderful job, no matter that they are extremist and occasionally break the law. Animal testing is against the law of human decency. The laws in this country and around the world are archaic at best. Better to run tests on convicted murderers.

Hi friend, you are right, we don't have any rights to test our things with animals, but scientists always do this activities due to testing the medicine, there is nothing wrong if the animal is not killed with this test and remain safe, otherwise it will be considered as animal abuse
