My first book: Clint Look at Life... want help regarding publishing & feedback.

Hi friends, My first book is complete. I am excited to publish it. It got accepted by Raider Publishing International but, they are vanity publisher and they are charging me to publishing my work. Its new for me so, first I want to know is it a good publisher to publish my work. I have created a facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/ClintLookAtLife and two websites www.clintlookatlife.webs.com and http://www.simplesite.com/ClintLookatLife. I am not getting what I want. I want real feedback from people. So, guys I request you to visit this and let me know what you thing by leaving your comment. I also wants to know the best publisher who can review my work and get my book published. I think facebook is not a good option to market. I came back to mylot with a hope to get answers and help. Mylot is the best website for people with intellect. I hope that many writers are part of this discussion community and they can give me their precious advice. I am crossing my finger for a helpful answers.

Before anything else congratulations that you finally finished it. I am also in the process of doing my first book. It's for my unborn child. I am an English tecaher and I wish my child's books are perfect for his/ her needs. I don't teh sexually yet. My advise to you is just from personal research I have done before I started writing the book. Since I am as new as you, the advises are more on doing a self-publishing. You can find over the web some companies that could help you publish online and on paper. They could also help you market it internationally. They also have service fees if you need help with designing and other technical issues. The two sites I have registered on was lulu and createspace. Though there are advises that I could publish my own at my local area, I just need to buy my own ISBN. I am looking at these possibilities. My last word are "know your goals and be ready to sell yourself with your book." Good luck and congratulations in advance again!

Thanks a lot for your reply. Best of luck for your book also. I know little bit of createspace but, lulu is new for me. Let me do research from my end.
