Hello mylotters!! When you say friend, do you choose the person to be your friend or you are just a friendly person so that everyone becomes your friend? What do you usually do when you are hanging out with your friends? and Why?

A friend is someone whom you have known for a long time, have shared your secrets and have a common interest. A person whom you have just recently known is an acquaintance. Being with friends, we do a lot of chatting and eat a lot. That is how we bond with each other.

I agree with you jenny1015, a friend is someone you have known for a while and share your secrets and go through "ups" and "downs" with. An acquaintance, is some one you may talk to in passing by. There was a girl that I use to work with that I would talk to her at work or I would have lunch with her that would call me her best friend. I just thought we were acquaintances, because we never shared our deepest thoughts or dreams. I would talk to her, because I'm a friendly person, but that didn't mean we were "friends."

Hi friend, i am really a smooth moving person and have the ability to make friendship easily, i am not interested in frequent hangouts now, during my college days i have lot of hangouts with my friends and we have more fun and enjoyment at that time. For me a friend is like a shadow whoever follows us in all the sort

good day maikeith, before when i say "my friend", it is really a dear friend for me. however as time goes by, terms and definitions now a days change. as a result, now a days, whenever a person tag me as his or her friend and vice versa, it sometimes denotes only an acquaintance.

I can say that I am really friendly so I dont have a hard time to have friends and dont choose whom to be friend with as long as you dont do anything bad or say anything not true and abd about me. It is really easy to gain friends but true friends are hard to find. There are some who will be a friend when there are with you but say something bad against you in your back. In terms of hanging out, we used to hang out in a friend house, talk and laugh most of the time.

I do not think anyone chooses his friends. It just happens that two sharing same feelings go along and constitute friendship. I do not know just merely by looking at face who my friend would be but I know someone to whom I am comfortable sharing my problems with is my friend, one who can understand my unspoken words is my friend.

I am not that much introvert in my nature and like to meet everyone greeting them with a smile. I like to make friends and interact with a lot of people. But still I do not entertain people who think ill of me or who avoid me for unnecessary reasons. I have a lot of close friends I love to hang out with. We do not engage ourselves in much of fun activities as whatever you usually do with your friends bring fun into your life.

I have friends and acquaintances.Acquaintances are those people who I don't have much in common, who I talk with just for the sake of it.Acquaintances can become friends,if I stay with them long enough to have what to talk about. Friends are those people who I go out with, who I have things in common with. When I hang out with my friends,I talk with them,we laugh,we may be drinking and eating, and chat, chat, chat until our jaws can't handle it.I think this is the best we can do in these times, apart from on-line activity(with my friends[and not only],of course).

I would like to think of everyone as a friend because it's just so easy for me to strike up a conversation and by the end of it feels like we have known each other a long time. I usually meet my friends at shopping malls although we don't really shop, we just walk around talking with each other and taking silly pictures.
