Good day myLotters!
Do you have a friend or girlfriend who's hobby is riding motorcycle? What do you think of them?
I dreamed of having a motorcycle when I was in college, but my parents disagree because it is more prone to accidents (but I believe it's all about being a responsible driver). So when I finished college and started working, after a year, I bought my own Honda XRM Motorcycle. My dad taught me the basics of motorcycle (since I know how to ride a bicycle, it's easy for me to handle and it's a semi-auto motorcycle). So after a month of practicing with my dad, I can now drive on my own without him around. I can't express the feeling of happiness and excitement, at first, when I was practicing I can only do 20 to 30 mph. And now I reached my maximum limit of 60mph. I can't do higher than that, I know my limitations myself. I won't force myself on something that I know I can't do. Just be responsible and always stay alert of your surroundings, somehow to avoid accidents.
Stay safe and enjoy the ride!
Happy myLotting =D

Hi Vanessa, I like that you have found the joy of riding motorcycles. I am a motorcyclists and have been riding for 15 years.
My advice as an experienced rider is this...
Get some safety gear. Helmet, a jacket and gloves. That is the least you need. Not ordinary jacket and gloves. Buy good stuff, not cheap.
As for driving the best advice is to keep your mind 100% on riding, nothing else.
That way you will understand if someone is about to do something wrong. Trust me on this.
No phone, no stupid thoughts, just riding. It is the best safety advice.
Plus, always keep your bike in a good shape.
Happy riding... :)

As for your question, as a biker I know a lot of bikers, some of them women.
Unfortunately fewer than men or else all bikers would be happy.
One last thing. Go to a parking lot and learn how to use your breaks. It helps.

You are welcome.
I insist on the safety gear. At least the helmet.

Before anything else, Thank you for adding me as your friend =)
Oh, I forgot to mention that I had not wear any safety gears when I was practicing inside our subdivision but I have bought stuffs like gloves, elbow and knee safety gear and haven't used it once. I know it's a must for riders to always wear their safety gears. (I must be silly)
About the motorbike's health, my father does the job and I just watch him since I'm no good at it. But I keep my bike clean =)
Thank you for your advices, I make sure to put it at heart.

I agree with your parents because riding/driving a motorcycle is found to be more accident prone than in 4-wheel vehicles. Anyway, I also agree that it depends on the driver. However, even if you are careful enough, there are reckless drivers out there on the road. So be careful and add it with prayers. I, myself, would want to own a motorbike someday, such as Ducati. hihi

If it looks cool on guys, what more on girls? It's a Total AWESOMENESS isn't it?
Oh yeah, acciddents still happens even with the most cautious person when reckless drivers comes in. And yes always include prayers in whatever we do in our daily lives.
I hope to see some pictures of you when you have your Ducati one day =D
Happy myLotting!
