I have seen how some architects create a super elegant yet unique house made of shipping containers. And I was mesmerized by the outcome and someday I was planning to have one, I think it's much cheaper than building a concrete home. Would you also consider to have one?

I also listened something similar in the news several month ago, some people who lost their home found a free container which nobody reclaimed so they converted it into their home. Seems interesting. But, I rather prefer a motorhome. Hopefully, I will buy one in the future.

Motor home is also unique but I guess it is good for those people who wants to travel a lot, because it is convenient that way.

Yes, it has got the advantage that you can rest in a place or travel and if you like the other place you go to allows you to rest there during a while. But the container is also great, another experience than the traditional homes.

It's not that expensive to start with one first if that is your dream, you could buy one in our country for around 100 thousand to 150 (2,380-3,510 U.S.dollars) you can start with one first then just keep adding later, there are already built units but if you ask me, I prefer to design my own. Think what would be more expensive in our country is the lot where you would put that up.

Yeah it's really cheaper than those concrete houses and you could add some designs out of your creativity. And besides I think it can be transferred because maybe you can have it build in a way that you ca transfer it from one place or another, hehehe.

I think this all depends on where you are. I know that in some countries, the weather will permit you to have a shipping container as a home. But it surely would be difficult here. I could just imagine how hot it will get during summer, and how you'd freeze in the winter. Of course you could get an AC and a heater to help control the temperature, but I bet it would be more expensive when the utility bill comes in.
