I cant believe how rude people are I was ready to punch them in the face.
I was at work and this ignorent couple comes in with their pitbull dog. They had ordered food about 4 weeks ago, we only hold it for a week before either putting it on the shelf for resale, or sending it back to the company.
They had came in last week asking about it (4 days ago actually), well it takes a week to get it from the company its been 4 days. They were just rude and nasty, then commenting on how they bought this product before (talking about some bone), it was in plastic wrap now its in netty (now not our decision but the company).
I went to the bathroom, and when I walked by the lane, the guy was holding the dogs leash watching him, then his girlfriend walks over says something and they both walk away. Not even thinking I went to the bathroom, and did a few other things then went back upstairs. I turned the corner and there was pee all over the floor, the display and product.
These stupid morons just left it there, and I figure they did it because they are just stupid and even us explaining that we hold items for 1 week not when you feel like picking it up, then its our fault for changing a companies product. I just wanted to hunt them down and pee on their crap.

it is the duty of pets owner to clean. there is not reason why they left without cleaning it. your getting anger over them - appears reasonable. but just tolerate and tell them in case they repeat it again.

hi Ricki some people will do anything to get back at someone
and that letting their dog pee all over the floor has to be the
most childish of actions just because they were miffed about
the order.shame on them. And also that mess on the floor could cause some innocent person to slip fall and injure themselves too.Sorry
about their vileness.

I agree, the fact the order issue was their fault and they couldnt admit to it. I ended up cleaning it up in the end, even if it were an accident if they admitted to it, and told us. Just like you said someone could of gotten hurt, and caused a big problem.

If the dog peed on products, they should pay for them. I know that in my country, if you break something at the super or at a store, you have to pay.

I hate to say it, but I do think that stores that do allow pet owners to bring their pets into the store are asking for messes to a certain extent because of the fact that there are so many pet owners that aren't responsible at all. With that said, I also tend to think that the majority of pet owners are willing to clean up after their pets when they do take them into a store like this.
The only place around here that allows pets to go shopping is Pet Smart and it is rare that I've seen anyone leave their dog's mess behind in the store.

Most of the pet store around here such as PetSmart, Pet Valu, and Global Pet Food allow animals in. Now like you said most clean it up, or point it out. We had one lady come in and her dog pooped on the floor she cleaned it all up for us, and we didnt even tell her too. But these people I believe were just ticked off, and they had that attitude, and know it all.

Unfortunately some rude people like these people obviously are are just that, dumb & inconsiderate of the people that work there & have to clean up that mess. I used to work as a cashier for years & I can tell you some stories of the crazy inconsiderate things customers used to do that we the cashiers would then have to clean up or put away if we could. Sometimes they would decide that they didn't want a certain frozen food item so instead of handing it to the cashier so it could be put back in the freezer they would just leave it wherever so the food would then spoil & have to be thrown out. It used to make me so mad that these people would waste food like this when there are so many other people in the world who are starving.

I've seen that a few times, where ice cream was on the shelf all melting away. I have worked in fast food, and now retail its unbelieveable what people will do. Sometimes I wonder if they think beforehand, or have ever worked in retail or fast food before.

Wow they are really rude and nasty couple. I don't let my Odie pee or poo outside the road. One time when we been going at park suddenly he stop and make a poo good thing I have plastic and out it on the trash. It is the responsibility of the owner how their pet being taking care off.

Oh I would be really pissed off at the couple. I bet the wife saw it and told the husband, they left and didn't say anything. I bet they figured you guys deserved to clean it up too. People think that companies should always bend to the customer's will, but that's not how it works.
If that's how it worked, companies would be bankrupt.

People can be insolent, just discuss the issue with them with good tone , and if they don't change just quarrel a lil bit and they might change their doings, and I assume the dog is not responsible, because an animal does its business just wherever it feels like it. The dog owners should be talked to. Cheers

That was really rude! You should have check your CCTV to know who the couple were and showed that in national tv. These kind of people are simply heartless!

My one friend Shelby worked in retail for many years before retiring and she can tell you some horror stories of her own. Not in a pet store, I'm sure those stories would be different than well working at a Target or such. But these are the things that you will be subject to while working so I guess the only thing you can do is put up with it. Supposedly the customer is always right and the only way to handle it is to put up with it, otherwise you won't have any business according to some "experts" on this subject. Was it right for them to leave the pee there? No, but alot of people just don't care. It wasn't the dog's fault. But I see what you mean, working in retail isn't going to be a piece of cake daily. I've been in a pet store or two where the dogs had accidents of all kinds though and am not sure how the customer handled it. Usually the workers clean it up as far as I know.

Just wondering.... is this a pet store or a grocery type store. I ask because if it sells human food at all legally the animals cannot be in there unless it is a service animal. I would stop them at the door next time and remind them of that.
