Who is the man to replace V.V.S.Laxman in Indian Cricket test team.

I think no one can replace to any other players, each player has his own style and ability to stay in the team....after retirement of laxman and dravid some issues arose here who can replace them but middle order of indian team in any format are not weak.....we have kohli,raina,yuvi,pujara and dhoni who makes run at any condition...and also dhoni has excellent captancy skills which helps team to go forward................thnks

I agree with Gautam. We should not talk about replacements for the great player like Rahul Dravid, Laxman and others. They are legend of the game and it is next to impossible to replace them. We can get better players but the contribution of these legends cannot be forgotten.

Hi Ranjee, Yeah we need to fill that position too as Pujara will take care Dravid's position, I think Raina or Yuvi will replace VVS but they need to prove that. I am eagarly waiting for YUVI to replace that position.

We should not think about his replacements right from now. I have heard this topic being highlighted right from the moment he has announced his retirement. With due respect to him, I would add here that we never know we can have someone better than him who might loose his original path if being too much pressurized for filling up Laxman,s shoes. We should give every youngster his own space to develop the uniqueness he has and should allow him to enhance the same.
