Banana peels as teeth whiteners

Well I was amazed that even a peel of banana can whiten your teeth. It was said that the minerals like potassium, magnesium and manganese are absorbed by the teeth and makes it whiter. At least now I don't have to go to a dentist and spend a lot just to whiten my teeth. I'm so excited to try this!

Oh this discussion has solved my problem. From last 2-3 months I found my teeth to be slightly creamish. Since I am bedridden and cannot go to visit a dentist I was wondering what I could do to get back the whiteness of my teeth. I would like to try this simple home remedy for it. Could you please elaborate on its use? As in how should I apply it? What is the best time? For how long I have to keep it?

I actually have to admit that this is something that I've never heard of. However, if it is something that is actually true, then I think that is a great piece of knowledge to share. The reason that I am somewhat excited by this is because of the fact that I've known many people that have used traditional teeth whitening and it has been something that has caused some damage to their teeth. So, after you've given this a try, please let us know whether or not it did work for you and how you did it.

Oil pulling with coconut oil will whiten your teeth and rid your mouth of bacteria. Here is the link www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/oil_pulling.html#COCONUT_69156 there is a lot of information on the web about this. Oil pulling with various oils is very beneficial to your overall health. Although many sites say to swish it around in your mouth, the proper way is to suck it between your teeth as well. Read the info. Some of it is amazing. Results vary for different people and some use sesame oil instead. There are quite a few different oils people use. It's very interesting.

You did not search all the goodness of bananas. You could also enjoy the goodness of banana as it is a good fruit to calm your temper,so when you are mad and likes to feel better, then eat some bananas.Bananas could also help lower your risk of a heart attack,as the saying goes an apple a day makes the doctor stay you away----that is before you know the bananas, you could now add the bananas in that saying. There is another goodness of bananas, when you are eating some bananas you could feel that you also also bitten by mosquitoes because it likens bananas,so the only remedy to sooth the mosquito bites is the banana peels by just rubbing it to affected areas your itch would be gone,so are the swellings.Enjoy your bananas!!

This is the first time I read about these. But I am not sure if it really works but if it does then I guess that is bad news to those toothpaste who are claiming they can whiten your teeth since Banana peels are all over the place and cheaper than those whitening toothpaste availble.
