Everyone is busy in this life.
Work, business, career, family etc etc.
Family comes first for everyone (anyone may disagree)
Kids for family men/women
Career wise for bachelors/bachelorettes.
Therefore, that it means friends are always second best?
Thus, other relationship shall be taken for granted?
Loving someone doesn't always mean being together at all times.
Showing love is not all about gifts, dates and i love you.
Sometimes, a simple "hello", a short message is enough to show you care.
To let him/her feel he/she is important no matter how busy you are with other things.
Have a great day again dear mylotters

The fund here is, even after combines all in one place and it happens some time. Then also, we don't have the time to have some love each other. But people who are not around, lives far away for years, and saying a simple 'hello' makes much more closer.
Why I said, the h/b wife stays together for years but to have some pure love, they have to make 'calls' and travel. This is what really happening around these days. So what you said is true and correct for the time and there are exceptions, of course.

Eh, I am possessive when it comes to this matter...
You remind me of my ex- he has this dialogue always, he calls me the manager and every payday this goes his dialogue
"your money is yours and my money is yours too"

Hi Jai,
Yes, I used to enjoy the exceptions. These exceptions are like stars in the sky and it will be placed always and cannot be seen at all times. But when it appears, it gives a lots of pleasure, and I like to enjoy it so silently and personally and don't feel like share with any one, that is the spirit and specialty of the 'exceptions', it it right?

Yes I agree only a simple "hi" and "hello" is very important for the person who we love. Nowadays there's a lot means to show how they loved them even far away.

i guess that is why poking is invented in facebook... if you cannot say hello or hi.. you can just poke letting that person know you are there.

Hi jai
HELLO! showing my love and care to you dear
It is true that we shouldn't take for granted every relationship that we have from family down to friends. Sometimes ignoring can make a relationship worsen. For some it may mean nothing but for others they feel like we are already forgetting them. Especially if we're seeing how they interacting with their newly found friends, but to us, their old friends, they cannot even say hi or hello or even a like in facebook considering they're active on such site.

dear, thanks for your sharing of this opinion. Sometimes we ignore the people around us eventhough you have lived with them for a long time, we may find different excuses to avoid this, what we really need to do is smile to them and say thanks, once we own the metality of being greatful, we will find that the world will be amazing and you will be happy, too. so let's start from now, from this moment, smile and say hello to the ones around you.

hello olivia,
We should never take our loved ones for granted.
A simple hello and greetings is enough to make them (our love ones) feel how much we love and care for them.
Thanks for your comment and have a great day

Jai sis, indeed for me family do comes first. But, i don't forget my friends as well. They are always in my mind and i do greet them occasionally whenever i am free. Pity to say all my friends are now scattered everywhere in the world. So it is really impossible for me to meet them face to face everyday. Not forgetting to include you as well. It would really be wonderful if i have the time and money to travel to visit one by one of my friends...

dear sis
Friends are those people who are always there.
Sometimes we forget to greet them, but it doesn't matter that they are forgotten.
It's good to have friends who always understand our shortcomings.
Same thing with our family, we can't neglect them.
No matter how busy we are.
We miss to greet them sometimes, but in our hearts they're always there with us.
take care and glad to see you again

I don't think that friends are second best, I think that friends and family are of equal importance in our lives.
I do realize that there are times in our lives when we get very busy and we cannot spend as much time with our loved ones as we would like to be able to. All of that said, I really don't think that there are any circumstances in our lives where we should take those people that we care about for granted because they might not be there for you tomorrow.

Sometimes we have friends who fills our heart and life with gladness that we've never experienced from our family/relatives.
I am always glad to see my friends coming here in mylot as well.
I am always happy to know everyone is fine ...so as you

Wow, that was so sweet of you. That reminds me to stay online with my family and friends. They say that the thought really matters. We really need to keep in touch no matter where we are, as long as we have the chance. Life is so short to spend with nothing. Thank you for reminding this heartwarming lines.

hello mikyung,
We don't need to be with our family always.
We cannot avoid being away, or sometimes we forgot to say a word.
But still, making up from our shortcomings is not always late.
Our family and loved ones always has a room to understand us.
A simple greetings is enough to make them (our family, loved ones and friends) feel that they are important to us.
have a great day

Family comes first, but a simple hello, smile and eye contact, even to a total stranger can mean the world. Smiling and saying hello is such an easy gesture and acknowledges a person's being.
I think there is plenty of room for all. Enjoy your day and your journey!

Hi, Liked the quote. It surely relates to the world. You are right every relation has its importance only after the family. Some people lose their relation because they can't understand this aspect, this is even experienced by me. Thank you for sharing thoughts in a right manner..:)

hello srinivas,
Some people do not understand that, everyone is busy and have their own life to attend.
So, it's not ignoring when our loved ones miss to greet us, or send a message.
We know very well that in our hearts, our loved ones, friends and family has their special spot...and nothing can replace them in our hearts.
Thanks and have a great day

For me, job comes first. I miss some special events because I am away from my family. When the occasion falls on weekdays, I can't attend it for sure. We always have advance or late celebrations. I want my family to be the first priority but my job is important. It's giving me the money for my family. Therefore, a simple "hi and hello" is very important. Thank you for this wonderful post. It inspires me.

hello angel,
Some people mistaken others for neglecting their loved ones and family when they choose to attend job/work/career first or friends.
They shall not judge, because in every heart- family are never been the least.
It just happened that, there comes a time that we need to sacrifice our family matters.
Thanks and have a great day

Hi friend,
What you have said is so true. Indeed we are all busy but then we need to keep in touch with our loved ones despite everything. For me, the most important priorities are my parents (whom I stay with and who are my pillars of support), my boyfriend (whom I am thinking of I don't know how many times and missing always) and my friends (both offline and online). I have made many friends in life, and I am specially happy that I have got attached emotionally to some online friends here at Mylot. I need to talk to my friends despite my busy schedule and even if we cannot talk at length on a daily basis, I try my best to keep in touch with them. Yes, a simple hi or hello can make the other person know and feel happy that we have them on our mind, even if we are not able to find a lot of time to interact. I am able to understand this from my situation itself. There are some school friends who are into jobs now and are busy; we were really good friends at school and used to hang around but now that's hardly possible. Yet no matter where they are, they still inquire into my whereabouts and what I am doing. It is a very sweet gesture and makes me feel that I am loved. Therefore, I do the same for those I care for. Regarding my parents and my boyfriend, I can't get enough of them. I love them so much that no day would be complete if I could not have a hearty chat with them.

hello oindy,
You made a good point here :)
Yes, we have to understand our friends, everyone is busy with their own lives.
But it doesn't mean we've forgot them or they've forgotten us.
That is why, a simple greetings is enough to make each other feel that the friendship or relationship is still there.
We don't get too much when everyone is working, busy with their career unlike during school days.
What matters most is the attachment is still there and feel no matter how simple the greetings is.
Thanks and have a great day

I think you should show the people you like that you care about them. If you're going tp ignore someone (whether it be a family member or a friend), don't be surprised when they don't wanna hang out with you, if you have always been "sorry, I don't have time for you" for forever... you should at least sometimes call them or text them and have some programs together, without anyone else.

hello doroffee,
Being ignored makes the heart grow cold.
That is why a simple greetings is enough to keep the relationship alive.
But there are people who doesn't even care to send a short message or greet to show they care.
Yes, in the long run- they will be forgotten.
thanks and have a great day

Hi,
Everyone is busy in our day to day life. We have to give importance to business, family, friends or love as per the situation. In this busy modern age sometimes we don't have time to speak each other. You are right for showing love, gratitude as you said we should simply say 'Hi', 'Hello' to someone who love or care.

Even if we choose our career first -, it doesn't mean we took our family for granted.
It just happen that we need to prioritize our career and give most of our time to succeed.
But every success we offer it to our family and loved ones.

Hi hello Jaiho a simple words but means a lot which tickles the heart of the one we great. Ok we're busy in this world in order to. Met our days end. As for me based on my experienced family comes first, but sometimes we can't be with our family because of our work, we have to sacrifice our own self in order to give our family a good life. So we have different priorities ...words, time and actions can't say but our hearts and mind says that we love them all. Our family, friends and love ones....just this busy world makes us absence for a while. But didn't mean we lost love for them... GOD loves us all.

But it doesn't mean there is no sun- it just happen that the sun is covered with clouds, or the sun is shining from other direction.
Yes, there are times that we need to choose career between family and loved ones.
but it doesn't mean they (our family) is the second best.
Thanks and have a great day
