Like a story in the Bible the David and Goliath. The win was really unexpected. Cant imagine that the Smart Gilas won over the team USA by just 1 point. Everyone from the team was a good choice and they proved it. Everyone is contributing and the most amazing guy on the court was the smallest. Congratulations to you guys. Continue doing your best and making us Filipino proud.

I had lost my interest in basketball, for a quarter of a century now, since about that time basketball turned into a pro league that is not to my liking. I hear reports though at how we deteriorated in that sport, considering we were powerhouse in Asia, and the last time we won in this particular cup was 1985, the beginnings of the pro league. So, now that we won, even by a point, I am happy enough. Gosh, for the first time really, I watched the dying minutes of this game, and I was happy we regained the pride and the confidence. Let's see how we'd fair...

Watching it live must be very fun, I sure. Too bad i wasn't home during the game because I was at my uncles wake since it was his last night. On that night When I open my Facebook my friend posted on his wall, He says "Where is JUSTICE by: LA", then his friends comments telling that we won. I said wow, I should watch the replay. They made it.
