I formed this thread to talk about the NBA's incoming rookies. To start, the number one draft pick Anthony Davis is showing some real promise. Although he didn't play much over seas, he shined when he did. Damien Lilliard is also a good prospect judging from the summer league. I'm also pulling for John Henson and perry jones iii (Thunder Fan).
What do you think about the new rookie class?

Other than Davis, safe bets for me are Bradley Beal, Jared Sullinger and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Bradley Beal will immediatel fit in with the Wizards system as their spot up shooter. He reminds me a lot of Eric Gordon in terms of physical attributes and skill set and we all know Eric Gordon is OK. Jared Sullinger could have been the No.1 pick of the 2011 draft had he listed himself eligible, so I think he is a great steal for the Celtics. With KG as a mentor, he should be fine. MKG is a winner and he can be even better than how Kemba Walker did last year, and not looking at the standings, Kemba Walker was not that bad.
For busts, Thomas Robinson could be one because of how he underwhelmed in the summer league. He'd be a lot like Derrick Williams from last year who appeared to be solid, but not good enough considering him being a lottery pick. Dion Waiters also does not impress me. I don't know why.
As for Davis, maybe at worst, he'd be someone like Marcus Camby. Hopefully he does excel in defense and rebounding as marketed. He can be a Kevin Garnett if he develops some passing and a decent jump shot. But yeah, he is good to go.
