Well you know how I feel about this don't you my little chickadee? I like when people answer back and we have a fun time. I've had a few who only comment like that and it's kind of boring, don't you think? It's nice to have manners, but it's nicer to comment on top of those manners. Tell me anything..tell me your mom hates you, tell me the sun isn't shining, tell me you're watching tv while commenting, but tell me SOMETHING!

OMG!!! I must have accidentally hit the paste button and this came up from another response I made which has nothing to do with yours. I'm so sorry!!! I was welcoming you to myLot and had this whole response here and this other one came up..yikes! Anyways, yes, it is good people are eating much more healthier including myself. I do still eat meat but it's at a minimum, and I've been replacing it with Fish instead. I was raised on Fish and love it! Plus, I eat many more vegetable and fruit, plus lots and lots of salad. Sorry about this mix-up....duh to me. When people read that above they'll think I'm crazy and I've lost my mind, hahaha!

Actually meat does have some health benefits so I have to disagree with you simply stating it is no good for your health unless you've got some good evidence to back that up. But in saying that I do eat meat, I am not vegetarian but I don't eat a lot of meat weekly, just occasionally depending on what is being cooked. I do eat fruits and veggies, light rye bread and of course I prefer things fresh than canned and I like to grow my own veggies in the garden. Although being winter here I haven't planted but spring watch out because I'll be growing

Ohhh I see what you have meant now thanks for clarifying that up. It sounded like you were saying meat has no health benefits but yes you can get them other ways. Lst night for example though I had a piece of salmon since it's rich in omega 3 and felt I needed some because I don't eat fish often either and I had that with a salad. Today though I had veggie soup that mum made that had pasta, broccoli, tomato, capsicum, onion and I think sweet potatoe as well. Wasn't bad

Hi miracle, welcome to MyLot and you can thank Kash for leading me to your discussion...lol Anyway, I think maybe some people are seeing this, but not everyone. Though I couldn't become a vegetarian, I have cut back a LOT on my meats and eating more fruits, vegetables, and eliminated white bread for whole grain. I try to bake my own bread, which is even healthier, and another thing I have been doing lately is making smoothies. With organic yogurt, I throw in a mixture of fruits, vegetables, and weeds, (yes weeds, the kind that grow in the yard some people spray to get rid of)and make delicious smoothies that are very filling...

Although technology plays a big part in our everyday lives, like having these canned or processed food that comes in handy, our health really suffers. We should really try to avoid eating food that could eventually lead us to cause any disease. Living with fruits and vegetables and lesser intake of protein will surely make all of us healthy.

a big yes! it is a matter of self discipline... eating right, living right is not possible without the aid of our heavenly Father all we have to do is ask Him and he will surely help us! He who created us do not want us to perish but He wants us to have an everlasting life!

Welcome to myLot! I've heard about this from some people and it might be a good idea but not something I could see myself doing. I enjoy meats so I couldn't be a vegetarian. I don't eat a lot of junk foods so that's a good thing for my benefit. I think its horrible the way the diseases and cancers have been showing up more and more all of the time. It must be our foods or the air is all I can think.

Well sure! But veggies are more expensive... it is not an easy lifestyle and a huge transition for your body.

good for you that you do not eat junk foods... it is absolutely a good idea to be vegetarian it is just your appetite is pulling you down. but i am pretty sure that you do not like your stomach to be a grave but rather you like it to be a garden! right?
