A doctor created it, and it was first sold in drug stores.

Soda that is. I believe the name brand was Coca Cola, but I believe Dr. Pepper (a different brand) was also created by a Dr. and claimed the same thing. I want to say it was ulcer's or no maybe drug addiction that the coca cola was supposed to cure. I am sure it did cure THAT addiction, but it probably didnt' help much for the addiciton of the drink itself... Sodas, they just aren't good for us but it's so easy for us to pick one up, why?

Actually Dr Pepper was named for a doctor the inventor wanted to impress to win his daughter's hand... think that's about the way the story goes...

I used to drink fizzy drinks once in a while but not anymore, I prefer something more natural, the caffeine doesn't make me any good, it makes me nervous. I drink juice or smoothies instead.

I don't normally drink soda even sometimes most of the parties are serving soda and juices. I rather take juices than soda, it makes me sick my stomach is like trembling down. I also read that a glass of soda is like drinking a glass of sugar.
