No sooner had the fallen DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo been buried, the morning news hanks of a relative, a cousin, I suppose, by the name of Villafuerte, whose only record perhaps is he carries the family name, and that, that family had long been a dynasty in Camarines Sur, notably one of the poorest provinces of the country today, and he tweets on the internet claiming the late Jesse Robredo has no outstanding achievement that could be compared perhaps to Commander Neil Armstrong, the astronaut who first walked on the moon, and by chance, also passed away this week. What is that tweet again, whoever you are, may we invoke the old adage here, check first in the mirror if they face is not smeared before criticizing the neighbor. Naga had bloomed into one of the best cities this country had in the past two decades, and that is because of Jesse Robredo. Whereas the people of Camarines Sur are quite impoverished, so reports say.

I think he was questioning who this Robredo that is trending back then and what has he done. Later he deleted the post when a barraged of tweets were thrown at him. He actually ask for forgiveness after that. This Vilafuerte is a son of the current Governor I think and is abroad studying. It is really hard to not know who robredo is or he is just too ignorant for not being here in the country.

Well too bad Robredo is hard to find these days. I think that it would be hard to really uproot political dynasty in a place. It will take one brave lad to do it actually and confront them like what Padaca did in Isabela. But being alone in the whole province the dynasty eventually was able to pull her back down and they got back the province once again. So far in our case in Bicol, same things are happening. Villafuerte has a position in Congress and the Province so I guess they will need a dynasty to really topple one or the people will really not support them which is an impossibility since they are also loved by their loyal followers.

I actually believe that a new wave had began. What we fought for in 1986 are actually bearing fruit. If we were sidetracked temporarily,m it was because there were personages who thought they could do a dictator, too, and thought they would not be caught if they do not leave trails of evidences. Well, they tried, but hey, they are now fighting battles for their innocence. HA HA HA HA!
Surely there are many Robredos and Padacas, as there are many Efren Penefranda in all of us, we just have to spot them in the crowd and recognize what good they are doing,

LOL. Ignoramus are not allowed to tweet. For their own sake. Grrr.
That young Villafuerte is obviously much like his old folks, and the sooner Bicol gets free of this dynasty, then the best is sure to come. Sec Robredo started a new wave, hope that prospers...

he had published a public apology but it could not dampen the ire of the people and there are still a lot of negative reactions and comments that are directed against him and to his clan as well. His intention to discredit Sec. Robredo backfired on him and to his clan. They can't fool the people this time.

I think the person is just jealous over Sec. Robredo's achievements that's why the tweet came about. Perhaps the person just needed the attention. Perhaps that person just needs to do something worth praising before he decides to ruin someone's good deeds.
Tsk. tsk. That's crab mentality at its finest.

An older Villafuerte was on radio, he said that he appreciates Sec. Robredo, and if only his son joins forces with the Robredo's.
Desperate mesaure.

You don’t know about Twitter? It’ a social media site like Facebook but you are welcome and encourage to share what you are doing or your current thoughts. What you post in Twitter is called Tweets. In addition, you can follow people that you know in Twitter. Just think of a mini Facebook. You can converse with people by using Tweets.
