blessed pedro calunsod, soon to be a saint!

we filipinos must be proud of our soon to be second saint after san lorenzo ruiz. in a person of blessed pedro calunsod, scheduled to be canonized as saint in vatican, rome in october 21, 2012. blessed pedro is a martyr who suffered religious persecution and martyrdoom in the hands of the native in guam. we must be happy that our country will have once again another filipino saint!

Hi,
Being a Roman Catholic, I always welcome news like this. Strange but I learn of this new development on the process of Pedro here in mylot. Maybe I have not gone down to the local parish to check on the news, I have not been around for some time now, really, even on Sundays, our parish priest which happen to be a classmate in the Seminary has been wondering why.
I just feel not up to it, what with the limited time on weekends when I could do house works and the like. Anyways, Pray for Us, Blessed Pedro Calungsod, nice achievements there.

Hi akatsukipein, I just saw the news earlier and I am very happy that finally the vatican had an scheduled for the canonization of Blessed Pedro Calunsod and even though that I do not know him but i believe that he already performs many miracles by healing the sick and dying people.
