in your stay here, and everyday participating in discussions, can you tell you somehow memorized names of people who you always come across with?
i bet you have. and by talking to them most of the time, i can see you know much about each other. even the time they are online or not. do you agree?
it's really good to have friends in here. we get to open ourselves, our iner selves without revealing our true identity. well, unless if we want to.
what's your say?

I am bad in memorizing names. Of course when we communicate everyday, I can recall easily who is who, or who is what kind of people. Once I lost communication for a certain time, it would be hard for me to recall their names, taking me a while to remember who is who...

oh, by the way, do i know you somewhere? you look familiar!
i guess that would be your dialogue for me, we haven't talked for a while.
yeah, i think i would also be like that. if i see most of the person i know what we have talked, but if it was months or years ago we haven't talked again, i would probably forgot their names. but it also depends what impact they gave me,i guess.

I have been here for 4 years and during that time, I have met a lot of lotters, and I have found a lot of nice friends. Some of them often respond to my discussions and I always enjoy chatting to them I also follow their discussions and I respond to them if I feel that I have something to say about the topic. Sometimes I don't even have to read the usernames or look at the avatars -I can guess the name of the person who started the discussion based on the writing style, the topics or the names of the pets. I must be a sign that I spend too much time here

Hello porcospino! nice to see you again. It's been a long time since we last seen each other. If I remember right, we have shared in a topic about travelling. just can't remember the title of that discussion of yours.
Anyways, as we participate most of our times here, we can memorize names of those who are always present in our started discussions. And by this, we can identify them who will comment back and forth, or just one respond is enough. There are also some who would start a topic but then never will they comment on any of the responders. If so, it would be one or two comments they would make and that's enough. they are more of those starters only. they don't stay much in one discussion. it's like they are allergic to come back. and once is just enoguh. funny, isn't it?
Yes, spending too much time cause you know how to observe as well and identify who's who. who are the starters, and the responders. who are those posts like starts with hello and those straight to the point. there are also some who does keep on entering tabs which makes the post long even though it is too short...

Yes, you are correct. When we are here regulalry we get to know certain Lotters, what time they log in and how they use myLot too. We know which ones will land on a topic and keep it moving forward with nack and forth exchanges and which ones will just leave a response and never come back again.
I have been here long enough to get to know some Lotters more personally and have exchanged emails and even spoken with them on the phone. I once phoned one user while they were at work, knowing that their boss was away, and ordered a pizza - even though their job was not selling pizzas but something completely different

hello msD, yes, you said it right!
if we are always participating in most of discussions here,we get to notice what time people using mylot and what they do in discussions. you can also see how they write, even without seeing their names, you can figure out who are they...
funny just like thinking of it as a penmanship where you may be able to guess who they were...

Yes, I guess I have a few friends here in myLot. They always comment on my discussions and I really appreciate it. I'd like to thank them but one of the don'ts here is not to say thank you. I sometimes can't help myself thanking them. LOL. Even if there's no payment for that, I still thank them. To all of you, thank you for becoming a part of my life. Happy mylotting.

Hello angel, it's okay to thank every one of them in participating in your discussions but not to a point that you are just like recording a thank you message and playing it all over again.
It's good to be here and make friends when you didn't expect it that you somehow getting closer to each other.see you around then!

Yes, Annavi23, I agree with you, it's a great thing to communicate with people in a community like myLot. I don't have enough time to log in every day and I miss it. And I also would like to say "thank you" to all the people who share their stories, their thoughts and feelings. You are right, we reveal our true identity and some times we are more sincere here than in the real life.

Same as you, there are times I don't find time being in here. But as much as possible, I would always try to be here even just for searching and reading...
fannitia, nice to see you around. Yes, it is good that we can share things in here even people don't know us personally and we can get answers some may be surprising and funny and some can also be serious and straight to the point which enlightens us more...
