My sister has an emergency operation

At least she was successfully operated. If this situation happened here, people without money won't even be admitted in the hospital much more operated on. Is there any government health insurance there that could cover the expenses? Maybe there are relatives who could help pitch in to pay for the bills.

I wouldnt even worry about the money you will figure that out maybe people will donate but, i would just be making sure your sister is getting her rest and everything goes well i wish you the best of luck. I hope everything is ok with your sister as well.

HI Bulastika, Thank god your sister get operated and now she is alright, does your father,brother or sister are working where Govt or Private company find out that they have done insured the family members. Or try a loan from a friend or other sources and settle the bills first and then go for health Insurance policy so that you may not worry about money when some thing happens have a nice day.

I'm so sorry to hear about what your sister had been through, but glad also that the tumor had been found earlier and keep it from spreading. I just hope she recovered soon and leave the hospital to keep her hospital bills from increasing. Yes, it's really hard to get sicked this days because of the high cost of treatment. I just hope there are good people you can turn to for help on your sister's hospital bills.

I'm glad ur sister is doing better. Last year my sister had to have surgery done because her appendix ruptured and it got really bad so we took her to a hospital but no one would see her because she had no way of paying so they refused to do the operation. We took her to another hospital that was farther away and we were pulled over by police and when they found out she was in pain they escorted us to the hospital and she got seen there, which was really good bcuz it was like poison spreading throughout her stomach.

OMG that is so sad to hear. Did she know she had this tumor in her stomach? That sounds so messed up, she will have to have alot of help and care when she gets out of the hospital too I'm guessing. Did she have insurance? If not maybe the hospital can help her and she can go on charity care. I know how frustrating this is as I've been having trouble making ends meet too and have had a surgery in July with a mass removed. God bless you and her plus the rest of the family. I hope that you will be able to earn enough money to pay those expensive medical bills, I would suggest doing whatever you can, without loan sharks to earn extra money. Sell stuff, make money online, but don't get yourself in more debt.

I am happy to know that your sister was able to get through her operations successfully. Are you from the Philippines? Coz if you are. I think you can ask help from your Distric Councilors for monetary assistance. it may be not that much, but atleast it could help you. Just try your luck.

It's sad hearing that and i hope that your sister is fine from the operation. I can definitely understand how you feel and my dad also went to hospital because of his health. So this is really important and i hope they all recover very well from that.

Last but not the least, it is true that medical treatment at private hospitals are now so expensive that most of the common people find it extremely difficult to pay the hospital bills.
