In reply to every discussions posted by other members we are giving our suggestions and in the tag column we are giving the concerned topic subject in that tag. If we did not give the tag name it will automatically puts in the correct rank category if we are already in that category or it will asks us to join under the category. Then what is the use of giving the tag name. Is it for search engine optimization purpose or for what.

Tag basically gives an overview of the entire discussion. We are asked to give tags as we post our responses to give the key points we have mentioned in our responses. It helps the readers to get relevant things from the discussion and it also becomes easier for anyone to get what the discussion is all about.

Hello idea. those tags give a connection to other discussions of similar discussions. You can see those related discussions over on the right of the discussions. if we all give a different tag then the discussion will be connected to others discussions of similar discussions. It also adds t o the value of the discussion.

I feel tags are like links in search engine optimization. Sometimes when we are looking for a particular kind of information then these tag comes handy. Although categories in mylot have already assembled the similar type of discussions but links are even more specific.
